Review for Boldereach, Boulder, CO, USA
BoldeReach was started by a group of Boulder-area women to raise awareness and funds to address in a culturally sensitive way the health, safety and educational needs of women and children living in desperate circumstances around the world. We leverage our passion and connections in the community to support existing non-profit organizations which are already doing great work in the world. Each year we choose a specific issue for our fundraising and interview related non-profits for projects that match our mission. Once we identify and vet the organization and project(s), we build our educational programs and fund raising project around the issue and chosen recipient.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
BoldeReach produces results in two distinct ways: We empower local non-profits financially which allows them to focus on their mission. We empower women supported by these organizations as our funds go to specific projects that support both missions.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Expand the BoldeReach model to other cities to leverage the power of a small group of women making a difference in their community.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Seeing exactly where the money goes and who it helps.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Very diverse and representative of the Boulder community.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Hire a small staff and have them support the creation of 'Reaches' in 20 other communities and produce 20 times the results.
Ways to make it better...
We could have provided more support for the growth of the board.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Being all volunteer requires that you carefully select every position.
One thing I'd also say is that...
We learn from our mistakes.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
