Review for The Pap Corps Champions for Cancer Research, Deerfield Bch, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I became involved in the Pap Corps many years ago after losing family members and friends to Cancer. After being President of the Greater Boca Raton Unit I was elected to serve as Education VP. The more I found out about the wonderful medical breakthroughs at Sylvester the more I was determined to help raise funds so a cure for cancer can be realized in our lifetime. With hundreds of clinical trials and cutting edge research msny "modern miracles" are being performed and it is because of our dedicated 21,000+ volunteers. As a "grass roots' organization we have raised between 3-4 million dollars in the past years. We are able to donate 98% of the monies raised to Sylvester for research. As a perk of membership, our members are given VIP tratment at Sylvester and the University of Miami Hospital. We have 52 units in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade counties and our fund raising activities are very popular. I am proud to be part of this wonderful charity. "Today's Research will bring Tomorrow's Cure!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

helping friends and family find the best cancer doctors in the only academic based facility in South Florida.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

meeting others who share my committment to find a cure for this devastating disease.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

committed to working together as a team to wipe out cancer.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

find the cure for cancer
