Review for Children's Development Academy, Roswell, GA, USA
THE CDA IS A VIBRANT DAYCARE PROGRAM GROWING THE MINDS AND SPIRITS OF THE CHILDREN OF FULL TIME WORKING PARENTS WHO ARE ALSO LIVING BELOW THE POVERTY LEVEL. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM BECAUSE IT MAKES THE POSSIBILITY OF A CHILD GAINING ENOUGH GROUND TO MOVE OUT OF THE LIMITED POTENTIAL OF A LOW INCOME JOB.... A REALITY. IN ONE GENERATION WITH THIS KIND OF EARLY AND DYNAMIC INTERVENTION A CHILD OF PARENTS WHO CAN BARELY READ CAN SUCCEED IN COLLEGE IN ONE GENERATION.... AND THESE KIDS ARE LESS LIKELY TO FAIL COLLEGE OR NOT.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
NOW NAYCE ACCREDITED...TEACHERS CERTIFIED AND INSURED...A PLAYGROUND BEYOND COMPARE I COULD GO ON AND ON THROUGH THE LEADERSHIP OF A DYNAMIC AND VISIONARY DIRECTOR THE PROGRAM CONTINUES TO SET UNATTAINABLE GOALS AND THEN ...MEETS THEM
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I WOULD SEE TO IT THEY HAD MORE MONEY SO THEY COULD EXPAND PROGRAMMING TO HELP MORE KIDS REACH THEIR REAL POTENTIAL
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
really feeling like i have contributed to the fantastic growth and change we have enjoyed over the past 6 years through some VERY hard work i am so grateful to have this progam be a part of my community
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very varied and very committed ...lots of different skill sets we enjoy the luxury of doing what we do well and what we enjoy because the group is active and strong
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
change the world one child at a time
Ways to make it better...
my experience could not have been better ...i feel useful and appreciated and always like a part of the team
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
getting enough money....worrying about funding takes focus away from delivery of services
One thing I'd also say is that...
if anyone has any way to provide resources to this program ...DO IT the value of your gift will be multiplied many times
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every week
