I am a Vietnam veteran, having served two combat tours with the Marines. Guideposts was a magazine I read whenever I could. Guideposts, praying day & night, & especially GOD were the reasons I made it back .On the few times we were back in a safe area we would receive care packages & items from various organizations that really raised our morale. It's wonderful to know that people care.Being in combat is , without a doubt, the most grueling experience a young solder can endure - & to know that your country is behind you is so important for morale.
