Review for Children's Development Academy, Roswell, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The CDA has been providing early childhood education for children of the working poor for 50 years. Over 140 kids are in the CDA's school every year and the are receiving services from one of the few organizations in metro Atlanta that has received the highest rating from both accrediting organizations in Georgia, NAYCE and the State.

It has a committed staff, a committed board and is one of the most admired institutions in the Roswell/Alpharetta area.

The CDA has continued to provide asonishingly good preschool educaiton to children of the wroking poor and now, we are pursuing added service "outside or our walls." This has been my most rewardidgn charitable eperience.

Review for Roswell Woman's Club Inc, Roswell, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This club is part of the glue that holds Roswell together. It raises a lot of money that it gives to a wide array of local charities and nonprofits. Its members are on the Boards of, and volunteer for, a whole host of charities. If you have a Roswell Woman's Club member on your board, you know that she will work hard, will get others to help, and will do an outstanding job. Folks in Roswell pride themselves on "taking care of our own" and we could not do so without this fine organization.

The CDA serves many single, female heads-of-households. It enables these mothers to work to build economic independence and security for themselves and their young children. The CDA concentrates on the working poor and makes sure that they know that, while they are hard at work, thier kids are receiving a quality preshool education in a loving environment. And, it has been doing this for over forty years!
