Although I do not live close to Rosemary Farm Sanctuary, I have been a patron of this wonderful organization for the better part of a decade, even visiting with my husband and working on the guest house rehabilitation several years ago. The staff is magnificent- executive director Dawn Robyn is an eloquent advocate for her charges; her wonderful stories and explanations illuminate the challenges and rewards of equine rescue. I have complete faith that all of my donations serve only one purpose: the utmost care of the wonderful horses, donkeys, and mules who have resided and continue to live at Rosemary Farm. There may be other equine sanctuaries as beneficial as Rosemary Farm, but none could possibly be any better. Rosemary Farm is the best!

Since 2015 I have been proud to be a supporter of Rosemary Farm. My husband and I were even able to make the 9 hour round trip to volunteer there one weekend. I have always been impressed by the care, compassion, work ethic, and knowledge of the staff, especially the founder Dawn Robyn, who brings the sanctuary alive with her Facebook posts. This magical farm is truly the model of what a nonprofit should be- one whose donors can trust that every ounce of support will be focused on its mission. Without a doubt, Rosemary Farm Sanctuary embodies all that is good about equine rescue.

I began following Rosemary Farm on Facebook several years ago, when I was impressed by their work, as told by the eloquent posts of their founder, Dawn Robyn (pictured below with the blonde Honey Pie). A caring voice for these beautiful equine souls, she conveys a passion and compassion for them that is catching, so much so that I became a monthly donor last year. I continued my sponsorship this year, and added a trip with my husband to volunteer on a work weekend at the farm. There, I was able to meet many of the wonderful human personnel involved with the farm, and many of the special horses I have come to love from afar and know personally through Dawn's incredible descriptions (Katniss and Hamlet pictured). I cannot imagine any animal sanctuary could be more worthy than this one. It is truly a magical place that I am proud to support.
