Review for North Country Children's Clinic, Inc., Watertown, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The North Country Children's Clinic's provides quality health care to area children regardless of their ability to pay. Their caring, concerned staff go above and beyond the call of duty to insure each child and family is treated with dignity, respect, and the very best medical, dental, and mental health care available. Without the Clinic, many of these children would go without care, or be forced to rely on expensive emergency room treatment - needlessly hitting the pockets of all taxpayers! The Clinic also encompasses the WIC program which provides nutritous food and dietary guidance to nursing mothers, infants, and young children - insuring a healthier start to countless young lives. Other programs include childhood obesity prevention and treatment, and the adolescent/teen pregancy support and education program. The staff is truly dedicated to the well being of each and every child they serve. It has been an honor to serve this vital community resource for the past six years.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Meeting many of the families they've served.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

try to make it easier for them to obtain vital funding.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with the amazing staff members and seeing the direct results of their efforts.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Every kind - top administration, marketing, financial, physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, clerical workers, and volunteers.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help more children that really need them!

Ways to make it better...

Could not have been any better - unless we had access to unlimited funding!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

state and federal cutbacks and funding streams.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I am very proud to be associated with this organization! I am humbled by their relentless dedication to their patients and to their mission.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
