I have been involved with Movement Exchange for three years. It truly changed my life. I traveled with Movement Exchange on two separate trips to Panama to teach dance at orphanages and local at-risk youth centers. I saw how powerful dance can be as a tool and the importance of arts education in at-risk communities. Because of my experience I decided to pursue a career in dance education outreach. It is an amazing organization that has positively impacted the lives of many children in Panama by bringing them consistent and sustained dance education and dancers all around the US by exposing them to the importance of dance outreach and service.
