I've been volunteering with NHEG for over a year now, and love every minute! As a volunteer, I've been held to very strict standards of putting forth the best work possible, believing that every student can learn, and maintaining a sensitivity to all cultures, beliefs, abilities, and strengths. The founder, Pamela Clark, has taken a lot of time to talk with me personally to explain the mission, brainstorm new ideas (and I'm amazed at how many different initiatives are always in the works), and just to reach out and tell me my work is appreciated. I'm proud to be part of the NHEG family!
