I have volunteered with New Heights for about a year now and I have to say I didn't come in with much expectations. I expected to receive assignments, do them, and be done. But man was I wrong. Whether you expect it or not, whether you want it or not, you're joining a new family and might as well make your last name Clark. All the people I've had to work with are so supportive and understanding of any situation and there's always that feeling that you are contributing so much, even when you think you're doing so little. And from what i hear, that is reflected towards all the parents and students New Heights reaches out too. Whether volunteering or utilizing one of the offered programs, new heights is the perfect place for any student and family to find help, support and comfort-all the perks of being a Clark.
NHEG hired me a year ago to create original scripts for their comic book and stories projects. Since then, I have helped them with marketing editorial, video voice-over, and, of course, scriptwriting. Always nice to work toward a good cause, and getting back into scriptwriting gave me the experience to take on two new clients in my day job (a scriptwriting team). Thanks NHEG!
I am a volunteerer at NHEG and after a year of being part of this amazing group, I have had an awesome experience, not only able to practice my interest, but also help others along the way. NHEG is place to help or to be helped.

I've been trying to find virtual opportunities to volunteer, and I must say, this non profit organization has helped me find that. That's not all, this organization is professional, sincere, generous, and very thoughtful about the needs of others. They not only virtual, but also remote with their own headquarters. Working with them, I was able to pursue something I loved while helping others. I received proper training and met lots of great people. I am proud to say, I am happy to be part of helping this wonderful nonprofit organization.
I have volunteered with NHEG since November 2020. I was looking for an opportunity to help support an organization that truly values and supports its members and volunteers, and NHEG does this. Thanks to Executive Director and Founder Pamela Clark's vision, passion, and engagement, NHEG promotes literacy and learning across the world, and helps students of all ages and learning abilities to excel. Volunteers are appreciated and allowed to help in various ways that align with their interests and skill sets. If you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer with an outstanding organization that continues to help students and communities in meaningful ways, or to help a student embrace learning, I encourage you to consider NHEG.
Good experience and learning opportunity. Pamela and the team help you along the way to get you up to speed. Work hours are flexible. I learned many things and am grateful.
I am passionate about designing websites and managing their content. NHEG has given me that great opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience in areas they are yet to tackle. I feel so happy working for NHEG because I am a part of the organization that works for the common good of the society.
_Provide free to low cost courses for low-income families and adults.
_Assign tasks to volunteers and support them all the way to complete the tasks. More importantly, volunteers always learn something out of their work.
I had a great experience volunteering with this nonprofit. Everyone was very professional and kind. Ethics weren’t being compromised anywhere and law was being followed carefully everywhere. We recruited a lot of really dedicated people with skills needed to get things done. I’m still enjoying all the talent I see there especially among the creatives I worked most with. They even had work from home figured out way before the pandemic!

I worked as a Lead Human Resource Coordinator with amazing team at NHEG. Ms Pamela Clark is an amazing leader. I enjoyed working with the team because the Organization is very well structured, streamlined processes and recognizes each team member and gives an opportunity to grow.
New Heights Education is a very diverse community of students with empathetic leaders. It is organized and contains numerous courses along with a varying array of events and clubs. The groups' experience with youths is obvious.
I joined the New heights educational group last year as a volunteer. I've absolutely loved working with NHEG. The founder is one of the most compassionate and genuine leaders I have ever met, and I am incredibly lucky to be a part of their team!
New Heights Educational Group has helped me with all four of my children over the years. That help has ranged from receiving on-line tutoring in certain subjects to creating legal high school diplomas for my home schooled kids. This is a caring, honest, top-notch organization.

I've understood her mission, her passion for education and children and her unwavering desire to help as many as possible; that's why I've supported her all these years. Also, as a parent, I've received help for two of my children in tutoring. NHEG tutors are extremely professional and knowledge. Because of this tutoring, over the last several years, my kids are able to graduate from high school. Thanks NHEG!
I have been volunteering with New Heights as a graphic designer and video editor for about 10 months now. It has been a great experience so far. I have gotten to work on a lot of unique projects and gain a good bit of real-world graphics experience all while contributing to a great cause. Everyone I have engaged with so far has been very pleasant to work with, and I get frequent assignments and hours that will allow me to get scholarships in the next few years. The organization is really committed to engaging students in learning, and I am happy to help with such an important mission. I am very happy to have had the oppertunity to volunteer with NHEG, and I look forward to continuing my work with them.
I am currently working as a Volunteer Lead HR Co-ordinator. I am blessed to have Pamela as my supervisor. Its a great place to work and learn new things. Join NHEG if you are looking for career growth opportunities.
I want to say this is a great group, because you definitely get more than you give. You have to learn to do the job independently, you will get a lot of resources that can help you both with your job and your future. I like the work experience here. Hope you so!
I volunteered in the graphic design department, where I edited videos and audios for NHEG. The work was fun and educational, and they give you creative freedom! As for the people, everyone was friendly and welcoming. They always helped me when I ran into trouble. Even though I only spent a short time there due to school, its a place I would love to volunteer at again. I love what they stand for.
NHEG has been an interesting organization to support and Pamela has been proved be a hard worker.
With confidence I shared this reference to whom it may concern.

I am Charlotte Picardo. I have worked with this organisation since May 2020, and it has been such an amazing and exciting experience working with NHEG. Being an international student, everyone was so welcoming. I am still working with them as an Educational writer and will continue to work in the future years to come. I'd like to thank Miss Pamela Clark, for being a lovely and generous person, who always helped me, supported my decisions, and stood by me all the time. She is extremely hardworking, and dedicated to her work in all means. I'd like to thank Miss Allene and Mr Aayush for being such great presidents to have, they have been always pro-active and courteous. The rest of the members are indeed helpful to have as well. I'd like to also thanks Miss Katie, for being such a wonderful Prof-reader. She always supported me and encouraged me to do great things in life. And lastly I'd like to thank Mr Michael Anderson, for publishing my 1st article on NHEG website, he is a very generous person as well. My journey has been so exciting, and that I feel like everyone at NHEG are a part of my family. Not only being a volunteer, Miss Pamela is very supportive that she even offered me to complete courses in Economics, a subject that I love.
Looking forward to the years to come, and giving my best to this amazing supportive organisation.
Pamela and I (Wendy, from Wet Paint By Wendy) met on an online Entrepreneur group, and in time she and I were communicating about art. You see, I do ‘abstract art that anyone can enjoy’, and love to make functional art pieces (coasters, trays, cheese boards, clocks, magnets, etc). After creating some custom pieces for her, one thing led to another, and now I am making custom pieces for a variety of New Heights groups in their online store! This nonprofit business is absolutely fantastic!! I am sooo proud to be associated with such a progressive, dynamic and helpful group!!
I started at new heights as a document builder and editor. Little had I known that I would be joining a family. New Heights allowed me to grow my skills and set me on a better path than I previously was.
I enjoyed serving the NHEG as their HR Coordinator. The team was friendly and highly patient during my learning curve. It was also great to meet other potential volunteers during the onboarding process. I'd definitely recommend NHEG to any volunteer looking to gain experience all while making a difference. :)
I cannot overstate what I have gained in my time volunteering as a graphic designer with NHEG. Pamela Clark, Founder of NHEG, is a tremendous leader who takes the time to communicate with volunteers regularly, instilling confidence and a positive work ethic across the entire staff. I am a stronger designer and a more effective professional because of my time with the organization, and I wholeheartedly recommend volunteering with NHEG.
Pamela Clark and her team at NHEG are doing a terrific job of helping us spread our message to the Homeschool Community. Essentially it is "How and Why Homeschool Math can be Vastly Superior to Public School Math". You can learn all about it at: http://homeschoolertoday.com/nheg/ and also listen to our Radio Shows with Erika Hansen with NHEG and read some of the NHEG articles. But, the quickest way is to read the Chapters of our Book or watch the videos on this subject at our website. Thanks much Pamela and your wonderful NHEG team. Keep up the good work. The volunteer staff at New Heights are a wonderful group of talented people. They will do what they can to help you and your family. They offer great programs through their website an outreach and highly recommend them!
When I first applied to be a cartoonist/graphic designer for New Heights Educational Group in late January 2019, I wasn't sure what to expect at first. My role was to assist in the production of a comic book series known as E.A.S.Y. Toons (Educational Anecdotes for Struggling Youths), and the amount of work required to bring it to fruition made this role was daunting at times. Although the production process could be difficult at times, my team members were all very understanding and helpful, and displayed serious devotion to our project and mission. After eight months of illustrating comic books, I can honestly say that I couldn't be more proud and fortunate to have worked alongside such driven, organized and kind individuals. Thank you for letting me be a part of NHEG!
I have known about New Heights for about a year and a half now. And have been volunteering for about as long. In addition to being a volunteer I have used NHEG for one of my children. The compassion that I have been shown has been the most heartwarming experience of my life. I fully support all that New Heights educational group does and I hope to donate to this non profit organization in the near future so they may continue to help out families in our community. Thank you new Heights for treating us like family.
They helped me understand homeschool regulations and paperwork.
They are very responsive and helpful.
I would recommend them to anyone.
It has been a great pleasure partnering with founder, Pamela Clark of New Heights Educational Group, Inc.(NHEG). In November 2016 I was looking for an avenue of purpose. I am a hobbyist photographer and had many photos I wanted to share that just sat in folders and files unappreciated. I was looking to fulfill my want to have a purpose to go out and enjoy doing my hobby, photography. I am not a professional photographer. I stumble across an add for volunteers for New Heights Educational Group and looked into their mission. I thought...well maybe they can use my photos or give me purpose to go out and shoot. I applied and was accepted. I have been blessed and privileged with this opportunity to work with such an amazing leader, group of volunteers and award winning organization. I gained confidence in my work from the praise of all the leaders and fellow volunteers I have had the privilege to work with. This has been an amazing and gratifying experience. Proud to be a part of NHEG
Excellent organization with great achievements.
I enjoyed every project that I have made for NHEG.

I initially found NHEG desperately looking for an opportunity to look for an internship in IT right after University. At this point, I didn't care whether it was paid or not, as I was trying to find ways to make my student OPT Visa valid. Now before I got the call for an interview, I did some research on NHEG, and I thought I'd fit right in instantly because I was a young struggling student, as well. From a struggling middle/high school student to a successful undergrad, and then eventually, someone who is now an IT, I had to join.
I have nothing to say but outstanding things about NHEG. Whenever I had to do certain tasks, I was notified beforehand. As soon as I scored a job, Pamela was understanding of my situation and made sure I had help while I was working. This organization was very professional in what they did, and I was proud to be a member of the family.
This organization opened a lot of doors for me. From being a Blackboard assistant to a radio show host, it caught the attention of my former boss, and he eventually referred me to another future employer that I now work for. My career would not have started if it weren't for NHEG.
For that, Pamela and NHEG, thank you, and I will continue to support your mission and cause endlessly.
WOW! We asked, and we received. NHEG completed our son’s assessment quickly and efficiently. They understood him and his needs clearly and were able to articulate ways to approach them with a positive vibe. They surpassed our expectations and we are extremely thankful to continue partnering with their wonderful team members.
My daughter just completed the Introduction to Japanese class. She loved her teacher and her classmates. She wants to continue learning the language. My husband and I are thankful to have found you!

I have been working for NHEG since 2012. I´m from Brazil and due to this fact my contribution is online as an educational writer, developing and researching material on education for NHEG websites, magazines, and teaching material. In 2013, I was invited by Pamela Clark (Founder/Director of NHEG) to start writing a book on Education and Literacy, entitled "Unraveling Reading". I always had the dream to write a book and what I can say is that New Heights made my dream came true!
Pamela Clark is a great women and leader. She has passion for what she does at NHEG and believes in the education and human potential. More than this she believes that each person has great talents and skills and that´s why The New Heights Educational Group exists. We are not only a Non profit Institution, we are a family. A family that helps and believes in many other families around the globe. So today I´d like to make an invitation for you (that are reading this post in this moment):

Pamela Clark is an absolutely wonderful and inspiring supervisor. After working with her for many years as a volunteer for her organization, I have developed many new skills and had been given many opportunities to grow my personal interests while also providing important work for NHEG. Pamela Clark is one of the most hardworking people I know, consistently supportive of volunteers and co-workers, while at the same time handling the ins and outs of a fantastic non-profit organization. If you are looking to volunteer, gain new skills, and work with an excellent community that Pamela has grown through her hard work and dedication, I thoroughly recommend offering your time to NHEG.

I've been volunteering for two years ever since I saw it on this website. I've been working on various projects throughout. I was able to help out with writing, data entry, social media and researching. If anyone wants to volunteer, this is the place for you to volunteer to have new skills. I virtual volunteer so it's not a problem if you can't be there. If only I was there in Ohio, I would definitely help out more.
I am honored to partner with NHEG as a volunteer because of its great team members and positive mission. There is always an open line of communication and respect for each other's work.
My best volunteer experience ever!
I met Pamela Clark just last year and decided that NHEG could make better use of my skills than anyone simply seeking free labor. I'm happy to tell you that I was quickly made to feel like a member of the team and provided with the information needed to begin. Because I live nearly an hour's drive from our headquarters location, I was allowed to do my work remotely, setting my own hours. This flexibility has made all the other important things I'm trying to do much easier to address.
Since our meeting last year I have already accepted my first promotion with this award winning group. I've been provided with skilled and passionate creatives whose outstanding work make possible the New Heights for which this group is named.
Each of the folks I've communicated with in this organization has been responsive, polite, friendly and helpful. I believe in their mission and share their passion. I hope my experience helps you decide to join us in making a difference for students, parents, teachers and schools of every sort.

I had seizures the first 8 years of my life which caused me to become behind in every subject. Between my family and New Heights they are working to help me get caught up so I will be able to graduate high school in 2 years. I have been receiving tutoring from New Heights for about a year and a half now in Math and Science. My tutor, Vanh, is absolutely amazing!! Last year she helped me advance 3 grade levels in Math alone. She is now helping me also in Science. Thank you so much New Heights!

Dear Sir or Ma'am,
My name is Maggie Spangler, I am a member of New Heights Educational Group and my daughter, Kathryne, has been receiving tutoring lessons since February 2015. First Sue Sidaway and now Heather Ruggiero have been tutoring Kathryne in Math three times a week and I have seen major improvements. Heather has been great at sending me updates and reports of her progress, what they have been working on and ideas on how to help her even further.
Vanh Vue has been tutoring Kathryne in science three times a week and she is actually comprehending, retaining and making connections on what she is learning in science. This has always been difficult for Kathryne since she had many seizures clear up to eight years old which caused her to have a 2-2 ½ year learning delay.
These ladies have been amazing in assisting Kathryne to where she is now and I hope we can continue to do so over the next few years to help get Kathryne caught up!
Sincerely,
Maggie Spangler
New Heights is a great organization that offers many educational opportunities. Thank you to the whole team, especially Ms. Pamela Clark!
This nonprofit is truly a great resource for parents and students. It's run by a dedicated team of people who believe in what they do. Great work!
I've been volunteering with NHEG for over a year now, and love every minute! As a volunteer, I've been held to very strict standards of putting forth the best work possible, believing that every student can learn, and maintaining a sensitivity to all cultures, beliefs, abilities, and strengths. The founder, Pamela Clark, has taken a lot of time to talk with me personally to explain the mission, brainstorm new ideas (and I'm amazed at how many different initiatives are always in the works), and just to reach out and tell me my work is appreciated. I'm proud to be part of the NHEG family!
I've been volunteering with New Heights for over a year, and it's been a real pleasure working with everyone. Pamela is always prompt to answer any of my questions and I never have to worry that my concerns would not be addressed.

I enjoy volunteering at New Heights Educational Group, knowing that I am empowering students and their parents. Educational is one of the most essential virtues in life and the organization works to promote different topics of learning. It is great to work with Pamela, and her instructions are always clear and the scheduling is flexible. I have done my first show last Sunday and enjoyed every minute of it, knowing that viewers are learning new information and topics. I cannot wait to continue volunteering at New Heights and further inspiring people the importance of education! :)
I volunteered with NHEG in the past and they are amazing! They work to build community and provide resources to all people. I had so much fun working with this organization. They are great people doing great things.
NHEG is very dedicated to their educational mission, and I am proud to be a volunteer for them! Besides being an advocate for educational needs, they provide extraordinary volunteer opportunities - just about any field you are interested in, they have an opportunity for you! This provides a wonderful outlet in which to add experience to resumes, gain experience working for a non-profit and meet great people with the same interests!
I have been volunteering for New Heights for about six years now. This is an exceptional nonprofit to volunteer for. They are not just a nonprofit, they are family. Everyone is wonderful, caring, and so helpful. I have learned so much within my work with New Heights. It has not only helped me pursue further in my career, it has taught me a respect for the work that these individuals do day in and day out. Within my years of service to New Heights, I have grown in regards to my awareness in education and my community. This organization has left a lasting impression that will never leave my heart and mind. Joining as a volunteer with New Heights is the best decision that I could have made and I am beyond excited that I have been able to be a part of this family.
I volunteered with New Heights Educational Group and have been very impressed with the dedication, and vast array of resources that have been, and continue to be amassed. The opportunities to learn about a wide range of topics was an unexpected delight in my volunteering. There is a dearth of information on this website.
We are brand new to home schooling for our daughter with Autism. We quickly found that there is confusion between what our public school district thinks the rules are and what the ODE thinks the rules are and neither always matches up with the Ohio Revised Code. I contacted Pamela Clark of New Heights Educational Group and told her of our issues and frustrations. She went above and beyond to get the information we needed and helped us to make sense of the overwhelming process and expected nothing of us in return. I can't say enough how appreciative we are of her time and expertise. ~ S.Lucente
New Heights is an exceptional organization to volunteer for. I have been a volunteer for about seven months now and it is a highly rewarding place to be. The organization is always growing and evolving their thoughts for continuous improvement. Volunteers are encouraged and listened to. The leadership of Mrs. Clark is exemplary and all volunteers are appreciated. The mission of the company really makes you feel like you're making a difference. Other volunteers are also friendly, amazing people with a diverse range of talents and backgrounds. I couldn't think of a better place to have chosen to put my time into. New Heights Educational Group is simply fantastic.
I have been a volunteer with the New Heights Educational Groups for four years now and I have had a an amazing experience working with Pamela. New Heights is very welcoming and generous. I've learned so much and they've also helped me grow. Pamela has helped me in so many ways and I am so grateful. I'd like to thank Pamela and the entire New Heights Educational Group for also having me a part of it.
I've been providing pro bono copy editing services to New Heights Educational Group for about a year now and am so happy to help New Heights' admirable mission to provide literacy and educational support to children and adults alike. I have been truly inspired by the director/founder, Pamela Clark, and her dedication, sacrifice and hard work!
I act as an educational writer for the New Heights since 2012 and I am very grateful to the institution for the opportunity to contribute to a better world through education. The New Heights gives the turn of voice, believing that everyone has special gifts and talents, able to be fantastically enhanced and leveraged for the benefit of yourself and for the society. Pamela Clark is a woman of vision and a great educator who seeks collectively with the team, the best solutions and strategies in education and development in order to meet the educational needs of each child, student and family. More than an organization that helps people, New Heights is an institution that sees potential and values, believing in the human being, and that each individual is able to perform.
Congratulations to all of New Heights Educational Group, and may God continue to guide us in this amazing journey !!
This is a great organization that goes out of its way to be innovative and find ways to connect volunteers with students.
I was looking for an opportunity to tutor online and Pam worked with me to make it happen. Really enjoyed connecting with my student and helping her progress in her math skills.
I have been involved in education volunteering since 1999 for various organizations. Never have I seen a more dedicated and committed group of folks that really are about helping others achieve their goals. The group's mission of education is critical and New Heights does it flawlessly. Specifically, the leader Pamela has got to be the hardest working Executive Director I have ever volunteered for. Not only is she tireless in her efforts, but supremely dedicated to her cause and the people it helps. I am proud to be a part of this organization as a volunteer.
I have been blessed to be a part of New Heights. New Heights has given my daughter the opportunity to graduate a year earlier than a regular school and has helped my daughter to learn -- not just have papers or tests thrown at her. This group makes you feel like family. I wish everyone would know about this group. New Heights has helped so many people, and I know it will help so many more in the future. I want to personally thank you for all your help, and I would recommend New Heights to everyone.

New Heights Education
This essay is going to pertain the experience that I had with New Heights Educational Group.
Before I had started out with New Heights, I was in and out of public school and charter schools. I was learning faster than other students and I was unable to go on with class assignments, or further my education on my own. I have been looking at other schools that would be able to extend my education and speed the process up with my graduation. Pamela and I have been friends for quite some time. In 2004 Pamela was my 4-H director and was able to send me on the right track! Pamela had referred me to New Heights Education in Mid-October, after she read my status on Facebook, about my experience with charter schools. I was going into New Heights Education totally blind folded and had no idea what this was going to lead me to.
New Heights Education is a very unique homeschooling program, because it allows a student to work at his or hers own pace to achieve their goals. New Heights base their schooling on “hours”, basically a student is given their subject that they are required by state to take and it is up to the student to complete their “X” amount of hours that was agreed upon to. I set up a meeting to speak with Pamela about the options that New Heights had to offer their students, and I was very impressed with her open library and curriculum that she has available for kids to borrow throughout their school year. Pamela was very understanding when it came to talking about subjects that I was not so good in. I mentioned that I was a little weaker in my math class than I was in my other classes, she arranged a personal tutor for me that I would work with a few time a week, which was helpful. The enrollment process was very fast and easy to understand, I was able to work in my assignments within a week or two. I would keep in touch and email Pamela at the end of each week and tell her what I had accomplished that week. I was able to take all of my classes that I was taking in my public school, which was such a help! I was doing at least 20-25 hours of school work every week and letting Pamela know when I had completed a course.
Pamela has helped me in a very tremendous way; I was able to achieve my goal and graduate a year early nearly making a 3.5 GPA the whole way through. Pamela was always an email a way and was very positive and done her best with questions and concerns. What I had experienced with New Heights Educational Group will forever be an amazing memory, and I thank Pamela for sharing her home school with me, it truly had a positive impact on my life and I’m glad that I took this wonderful opportunity in my life.
I have been volunteering with this group for the last 3 years. This group is dedicated to everyone from a child to and adult regardless of their ability to pay. Even when the public school systems have written them off , the success that NHEG has obtained with the same student is remarkable! A student who was having difficulty reading at their current grade level, now reads at a level 2 grades above. Just a remarkable group of volunteers.
I have had the amazing opportunity to help Pamela and the New Heights Educational Group as a graphic designer. This group is so motivated to help others and I loved working with them! Everyone was so nice and it was the best volunteer opportunity I have had!

I have been working with Pamela and NHEG since the summer of 2014 as a proofreader. Even from the first few pages I read, it was clear what Pamela and her group stand for: education, support, and equal resources for all. Homeschooling and other non-mainstream schooling tends to get ignored in a lot of discussion about education, but Pamela and NHEG are doing everything they can to offer a great support system for the children and educators who might otherwise get left behind.
It's satisfying being a part of an organization that provides many resources to private, charter, and public students.
I've been working with Pamela since Oct. of 2013, and find the opportunity very rewarding. The history talk radio podcasts give more information on history than many people have heard. Doing research on the history segments helps me appreciate the wonderful republic, and the people that risked their lives, so future generations could live lives free of oppression.
I have the pleasure of working with Pamela quite often, and New Heights Educational Group is a great organization that has helped a lot of people on furthering their education. I highly recommend it to all.
It was a pleasure working with Pamela and could assist her on her propose and the New Height scope.
I would love to work with Pamela again.
Regards
Marina
I am working with New Heights Educational Group (NHEG) as a volunteer program developer. I am amazed at Mrs. Pamela Clark's dedication to assist others in their endeavors. I was associated with many non profits in the past 20 years but most of them were not very serious about their mission.I have seen New Heights Educational Group as committed to providing educational assistance, guidance and resources to kids and their families.
Working with NHEG has provided me with an opportunity to use my skills towards a worthy cause! I would definitely recommend NHEG to my friends and other volunteers.
I worked for this organization since 2013 as a researcher. I enjoyed working for New Heights, everyone was very pleasant and I love that they try to help children with education. Wonderful non-profit.
I have volunteered as a "Virtual Researcher" from June 2011 to June 2014. I have always received helpful assistance from Pamela S. Clark. Mrs. Clark is a true champion in many differing arenas of education. I would recommend 100% to any one who is interested in virtually volunteering in the field of education.
I am being tutored in reading by New Heights three times a week.
I like it. It is working. It give me something to look forward to by helping me prepare to learn how to read so people don't look at me like I am illiterate. I would like to try to attend college and learn to do small engine repair so I can get a job and provide for my kids and family. I will give my kids a skill of working on small engines. It helps my kids that I get tutored because I do my homework with them and I can help them with theirs. This makes me feel better about myself.
Pamela Clark is looking for a volunteer speech teacher for me. I like how New Heights finds volunteers to help people in need. It is also not expensive. It costs me only $45 a month to get tutored three times a week and you can go all year round. My wife also likes all the activities for kids, and insights she gets for kids. Sincerely, Billy S
My name is Desiree, I'm a home-schooled senior, and I receive tutoring from New Heights Educational Group. Before I began with NHEG I lived at home with my mother and step father in Indianapolis, Indiana. I was in the largest public school in the state. My education was going excellently, but my home life was not ideal for a teenage girl.
The situation at home was getting to the point where I had to move out. I moved to Defiance, Ohio to live with my grandparents. I wasn't sure what to do with my education. I knew I couldn't go back to public school because the vocational education I had been receiving before wouldn't lineup with regular public school. I thought I was going to have to drop out completely and get my GED. It wasn't long after I had the dilemma that I discovered NHEG. With the personal help of Director Pamela Clark, and my tutors, I'm on track to graduation in the near future. My education has been a bit crazy over the last few months, NHEG has helped me tremendously.
I am a first year homeschool mother to one son. I came across New Heights Educational Group via the HSLDA website. I was looking for help finding someone who could help with testing and assessment.
Within a few hours Pamela responded to my inquiry. She gave me several names of people I could contact as well as some other useful information. I am very thankful I found New Heights Educational Group.
Hello everyone,
I´m Daniela Silva, and I work to "New Heights" as educational writer. This year was very special for me because, besides being able to contribute with articles and educational content for the web, I was invited by Pamela Clark (founder of the Institution) to participate in the preparation of a book to assist students and teachers in literacy and reading. This project has been a great blessing and a great opportunity for personal growth and professional development. More than a Organization, New heights has become a real family to me, a family that loves, that educates, that transforms!
God continue bless us with new ideas, new achievements, new heights.
My name is Zachary Allen Clark, Pamela Clark is my mother, long before New Heights was ever thought of, when i was about 5 years old my mom pulled me out of public school to begin homeschooling me, from there on, my mom kind of found her passion, education. She not only gave me the best education possible but also helped a lot of other families do the same for their kids, for years she did most of that without any kind of pay and worked through many health issues. She has always had an admirable work ethic.
I have volunteered with New Heights since 2012 and cannot say enough wonderful things about the organization and its founder Pamela Clark. It was quite clear from the beginning that New Heights is run efficiently and passionately. Pamela helped integrate me into a volunteer role that maximized my skill set and personal interests (volunteer research coordinator). As a result I have always been eager to accept new projects and have felt like I am helping to make a difference within the organization. Finally, I would just like to add that Pamela has been so supportive of the things going on in my life. This speaks volumes to her character as we have never actually met face-to-face (I am a virtual volunteer). She has been helpful and encouraging as this is my first semester of graduate school. I have the utmost respect for her and New Heights as a whole. This is a fantastic organization and I give it my full endorsement for anyone who is interested in doing volunteer work.
New Heights Educational Group is one of the nonprofit organizations I can believe in and that is saying a lot. New Heights works with everyone who wants to learn, from the adult who cannot read because of dyslexia to the child struggling in school to the learning challenged. This nonprofit does not discriminate in way. They work with students in public schools, charter schools, private schools and homeschools.
They are extremely careful about screening their volunteers using fingerprinting and background checks as well as reviewing each volunteer's lifetime work.
I first became involved with New Heights through Toastmasters. They were looking for a speaker for their first graduation ceremony for Homeschoolers. I volunteered. After that I became a tutor. I am now a board member. I sincerely believe that education is critical in a person's success and in the future of our country. I have much to learn about New Heights yet. There are so many pieces to New Heights. Many of us cannot afford Sylvan. New Heights is a great alternative.
I discoved The New Heights Educational Group, Inc., while seeking an online volunteer tutor opportunity. I was very impressed with their web site and the ease at which it could be used. I really appreciated the range of services they offered to their learners, as well their diversity and feeling of welcome and collaboration.
I chose to volunteer with a local education org, so I didn't continue my volunteer process with The New Heights Educational Group, Inc.; however, communicating with Pamela Clark, the Founder/Director of the organization, was a pleasure. Through her emails I could understand where The New Heights Educational Group, Inc.'s encouraging and welcoming atmosphere originated. I sense that she is a wonderful educator and professional, though our correspondence was brief.
I wish every continued success to The New Heights Educational Group, Inc.. May they have a great new school year!
I have worked as the newsletter editor and history program tutor for several years. Through New Heights I have also received exceptional math and science tutoring help. I would encourage anyone looking for a good non-profit to volunteer for to volunteer for New Heights.
I have been a sounding board type volunteer with New Heights as well as having housed the library for New Heights in my garage for at least 3 years through 2012.
I find the vision with which this organization is guided to be refreshing and valuable as an educational paradigm. It welcomes the challenges and gifts of students and their families as a way of developing skills and guiding education for everyone involved.
Students of all educational venues, and their families, are welcome to services for a small fee, although the director has provided these services at the expense of her family in the beginning years of this organization's development....her passion is respected and appreciated by her family, even during the times of sacrifice to keep it alive.
I would gladly encourage anyone looking to volunteer in an organization guided by passion and integrity and the desire to truly make a difference in the lives of families to consider volunteering for New Heights . The organization is especially in need of more tutors, and particularly those willing to be coached by the New Heights director in a non-traditional way of providing literacy and math intervention for adults as well as children. Part of what makes New Heights effective is the use of non-traditional, out-of-the-box techniques to fill in gaps left by traditional or limited non-traditional experiences so that students can succeed rather than be just passed on for the sake of moving through the grades.
I have been volunteering with New Heights Educational Group since the Fall of 2012 as a Research Coordinator. I am so honored to be working with such a great group of people. Founder, Pamela Clark has been great to work for since the beginning. She is a very caring, supportive, and intelligent individual and is so passionate about her work. Although I am volunteering virtually from my computer here in NJ, I have always felt like a part of the team at New Heights and that has meant the world to me. I would highly recommend volunteering at New Heights Educational Group to anyone out there.
When I started working as a proofreader and web developer for New Heights in 2010, I had no idea it would be such a wonderful organization to keep me hooked for 3 years and still continuing :)
What I value about this organization is a transparent and honest management by Pamela Clark, the director. Volunteers are given organizational details necessary for their work and their personal opinions and schedules are respected.
It's an environment that helps you learn and benefit as a volunteer. New Heights launched an online learning facility this year. It is getting bigger every year!

My first contact with New Heights Educational Group was through Volunteermatch website where I saw an ad looking for a proofreader. I got a quick response from the director, Pamela Clark, welcoming and introducing me to the group. She gave me an outline about the group's goals and activities and how I may help them. It was amazing to find how organized the group was; they had a calendar of planned events for one year ahead. As a volunteer, I was treated with respect and it was a comfortable and worthwhile experience for me.
New Heights Educational Group is led by a visionary, patient, yet hard worker woman Ms. Clark. My voluntary role in the organization is as a "Program Developer." During our conversation, I can sense her great American spirit that truly reflected her organization's mission and vision. This organization offers students to advance their education with quite low cost (if you compare with other educational institutions) and rich educational resources. The awards that her organization received showed how successful she is in leading her organization.
I used to work as a private teacher, and to volunteer as a computer instructor.
This is a great opportunity for you to improve your education with relatively low cost through New Heights Educational Group.
And for those who want to learn leadership from Ms. Clark, I recommend you to join her asap.
I volunteered with New Heights Educational Group for approciamtely 6 months, and it was with a heavy heart that I had to give up my role due to an overly hectic schedule. Pamela Clark is wonderful to work with and it is with my highest hopes that I will be able to return when things are less hectic. I thank Pamela and everyone at New Heights for allowing me this wonderful opportunity.
I found New Heights Educational Group on Volunteer Match's website and found that they had a volunteer position available to serve as the Curriculum Reviewer. Shortly after submitting an inquiry to express my interest, I received a warm and welcoming response from Pamela Clark. Since that first day, she has been nothing but kind and friendly towards me. I have truly enjoyed my time serving as a volunteer for New Heights Educational Group and encourage other educational professionals to consider lending their time and talents to this wonderful organization.
