I have volunteered with New Heights for about a year now and I have to say I didn't come in with much expectations. I expected to receive assignments, do them, and be done. But man was I wrong. Whether you expect it or not, whether you want it or not, you're joining a new family and might as well make your last name Clark. All the people I've had to work with are so supportive and understanding of any situation and there's always that feeling that you are contributing so much, even when you think you're doing so little. And from what i hear, that is reflected towards all the parents and students New Heights reaches out too. Whether volunteering or utilizing one of the offered programs, new heights is the perfect place for any student and family to find help, support and comfort-all the perks of being a Clark.

My name is Cuyler Spangler and I have been struggling with math for a few years and New Heights got me a tutor. Because of that not only am I grateful but I am also able to graduate this year. Thanks New Heights and keep up the awesome work!
My name is Margaret Spangler, I am a Board Member and I have been with Pamela Clark since the beginning. I've understood her mission, her passion for education and children and her unwavering desire to help as many as possible; that's why I've supported her all these years. Also, as a parent, I've received help for two of my children in tutoring. NHEG tutors are extremely professional and knowledge. Because of this tutoring, over the last several years, my kids are able to graduate from high school. Thanks NHEG!
My name is Margaret Spangler and I have been with N.H.E.G. from the beginning. With Pamela's help we were able to get my daughter the help she needed and tutors in Math & Science. My daughter had seizures till she was 8 yrs old and this created many problems along with a 2 yr learning delay. My daughter is now 19, has gotten caught up in almost all of her subjects and will be able to graduate, at the end of this year, from high school with her younger brother! This would not have been possible without the amazing help of her tutor and New Heights! Thank you.
Pamela Clark is one of the most dedicated and hard working people I've ever met. She's very passionate about her work as the director of NHEG and it shows through the many awards her organization has received. Her kind and supportive nature made it a pleasure to work for her.
I have had a wonderful experience volunteering at New Heights Educational group as a proof-reader and social media expert. I love supporting educational causes and I commend what NHEG is doing for the community. NHEG's working environment helps everyone thrive and it is a pleasure to work with Pamela!
NHEG is a truly wonderful organization that does so much for people of all ages who need some educational assistance. The people who work here are passionate and considerate towards others, and it’s been a blessing to be a part of this team.
I’ve had the opportunity to work as a Virtual Volunteer as a Document Builder and Data Entry. It was an amazing experience to learn and share my skills in every task that was entrusted to me. I noticed many times how Pamela and Kyoko always looked to improve the processes of their company. Thank you Pamela and Kyoko for putting your trust in me. I really appreciate the involvement of all the employees that are working for the goal of making education better.
I worked for New Heights Educational Group from May 2017 to August 2017 as an HR Coordinator. It rendered me an enhanced insight of HR functions and a learning opportunity to improve my leadership and business acumen. It provided me access to a sense of community, and a sense of accomplishment through my contribution to supporting education. It was an amazing experience to work with volunteers from diverse background towards the same social cause. I got an opportunity to utilize my HR skills through various tasks and responsibilities. I highly recommend this Non-profit Organization to all the individuals who are looking for a learning experience, supporting social cause, and polishing their skills. Pamela is a great supervisor and is always present to mentor, guide, and support you. All the volunteers are very professional and are great team members.
I’ve been tutoring at New Heights for over a year now, and it’s been a very enjoyable experience. Not only has it been rewarding sharing my knowledge with other students, but it has improved my own communication and interpersonal skills. It has been worthwhile working alongside other diligent volunteers who are always willing to help and make you feel at home.

I have been working for NHEG since 2012. I´m from Brazil and due to this fact my contribution is online as an educational writer, developing and researching material on education for NHEG websites, magazines, and teaching material. In 2013, I was invited by Pamela Clark (Founder/Director of NHEG) to start writing a book on Education and Literacy, entitled "Unraveling Reading". I always had the dream to write a book and what I can say is that New Heights made my dream came true!
Pamela Clark is a great women and leader. She has passion for what she does at NHEG and believes in the education and human potential. More than this she believes that each person has great talents and skills and that´s why The New Heights Educational Group exists. We are not only a Non profit Institution, we are a family. A family that helps and believes in many other families around the globe. So today I´d like to make an invitation for you (that are reading this post in this moment):
Join us and make a huge difference in people´s lives through education.

I have been working as a volunteer web and graphic designer for the New Heights Educational Group since 2013.
I enjoyed each task that I handled. Working with Pamela is an enjoyable procedure. She trusted me from the beginning and the last year gave me more responsibilities. I am now the editor of their bi-monthly magazine and an Assistant, Virtual Development Director of Social Media and Advertising.
NHEG is a great organization multitasking and offers literature skills to children. I am glad I found this volunteer position and will try to do my best to assist Pamela vision.
The New Heights Educational Group is an amazing group of people who are so dedicated to their goal of educating others that it's inspiring. The people are so kind and caring that you are basically entering a family! Also, no matter what problem comes up, everyone is always there to help you through it. I've had so much fun volunteering with these fantastic people!
Pamela Clark is an absolutely wonderful and inspiring supervisor. After working with her for many years as a volunteer for her organization, I have developed many new skills and had been given many opportunities to grow my personal interests while also providing important work for NHEG. Pamela Clark is one of the most hardworking people I know, consistently supportive of volunteers and co-workers, while at the same time handling the ins and outs of a fantastic non-profit organization. If you are looking to volunteer, gain new skills, and work with an excellent community that Pamela has grown through her hard work and dedication, I thoroughly recommend offering your time to NHEG.
New Heights is an amazing place to volunteer and work. I've been volunteering for about 3-5 years now and I think that Pamela Clark does an amazing job at providing volunteers with meaningful and impactful work with room for personal growth. I love working here and I love working with all the individuals who share New Height's vision. I would definitely recommend as a place for volunteers to find their own passions and enhance their skills.

I've been volunteering for two years ever since I saw it on this website. I've been working on various projects throughout. I was able to help out with writing, data entry, social media and researching. If anyone wants to volunteer, this is the place for you to volunteer to have new skills. I virtual volunteer so it's not a problem if you can't be there. If only I was there in Ohio, I would definitely help out more.
I am honored to partner with NHEG as a volunteer because of its great team members and positive mission. There is always an open line of communication and respect for each other's work.
My best volunteer experience ever!
I met Pamela Clark just last year and decided that NHEG could make better use of my skills than anyone simply seeking free labor. I'm happy to tell you that I was quickly made to feel like a member of the team and provided with the information needed to begin. Because I live nearly an hour's drive from our headquarters location, I was allowed to do my work remotely, setting my own hours. This flexibility has made all the other important things I'm trying to do much easier to address.
Since our meeting last year I have already accepted my first promotion with this award winning group. I've been provided with skilled and passionate creatives whose outstanding work make possible the New Heights for which this group is named.
Each of the folks I've communicated with in this organization has been responsive, polite, friendly and helpful. I believe in their mission and share their passion. I hope my experience helps you decide to join us in making a difference for students, parents, teachers and schools of every sort.

I had seizures the first 8 years of my life which caused me to become behind in every subject. Between my family and New Heights they are working to help me get caught up so I will be able to graduate high school in 2 years. I have been receiving tutoring from New Heights for about a year and a half now in Math and Science. My tutor, Vanh, is absolutely amazing!! Last year she helped me advance 3 grade levels in Math alone. She is now helping me also in Science. Thank you so much New Heights!

Dear Sir or Ma'am,
My name is Maggie Spangler, I am a member of New Heights Educational Group and my daughter, Kathryne, has been receiving tutoring lessons since February 2015. First Sue Sidaway and now Heather Ruggiero have been tutoring Kathryne in Math three times a week and I have seen major improvements. Heather has been great at sending me updates and reports of her progress, what they have been working on and ideas on how to help her even further.
Vanh Vue has been tutoring Kathryne in science three times a week and she is actually comprehending, retaining and making connections on what she is learning in science. This has always been difficult for Kathryne since she had many seizures clear up to eight years old which caused her to have a 2-2 ½ year learning delay.
These ladies have been amazing in assisting Kathryne to where she is now and I hope we can continue to do so over the next few years to help get Kathryne caught up!
