Movement Exchange has been a huge part of my life and helped guide the course of my career. They are inspiring, motivated, and doing incredible work for the youth in Panama as well as for many undergraduate students developing a global perspective. Not only do they organize national university chapters of their organization and arrange for dance service exchanges in Panama, but they also keep a sustainable dance education program running in Panama. They employ local dance instructors to keep teaching in Panama when volunteers are not there and they pay them for their teaching work. They also give those Panamanian dance instructors opportunities for professional development which is so important. They are truly a one of a kind organization!
