Because kids that have special needs NEED organizations like Generation Rescue to help them through their journey of life. Even greater than that, the organization provides the families with grants that can help them with strategies and treatments that could be otherwise be considered unattainable and expensive. And in the grand scheme of it all, Generation Rescue educates others through events such as the Autism Summit. I am proud to be a volunteer that has worked behind the scenes, met lifelong friends, and advocatesfor the superheroes in my life: my students and friends that are on the autism spectrum.
