I met Generation Rescue around 5 years ago. I had no idea what they do until I met all this families who came to the Generation Rescue Conference in Chicago. The support, information and solutions that they gives to families effected with autism is out of this world. I saw how people thanks them and Jenny McCarthy for what they did for them. Generation Rescure is the best non profit organization for autism.
I will support them and direct people to them as long as I can.
Keep doing the great job that you doing.

Generation Rescue is one of the best and most dedicated groups helping families with children with Autism. Their staff genuinely cares and is invested in each family. It is truly a great organization.
Generation Rescue is an amazing organization that continues educate parents with kids with autism so to help save both time and money. I just attend the Autism Education Summit and learn about diet, supplements and digestive health to help support any child. They brought in so many experts in one weekend and each Dr. made time to answer questions and talk to each parent. Great learning experience and will be back next year!
We love Generation Rescue!! Words truly cannot describe to joy we feel when we think about how much the entire staff and organization care about our little family. My son is 7 years old and he was a Rescue Grant recipient almost 2 years ago. Generation Rescue has helped us get to where we are today. The grant program provided us with guidance and direction. We are not sure where we would be if not for the grant program. My son has so much more understandable language, makes eye contact without having to constantly be told and most of all he is understanding others more. Since starting with Generation Rescue, my son has come out of his shell...a fog has been lifted and he is able to enjoy spending time with others and interacting with adults and peers. Generation Rescue is an amazing organization that we stand by. They give us HOPE ! We love the entire staff and the love and dedication they put into helping our kids and us. Thank you so much for all that you do for Dom and for your hand holding for us parents. We don't know where we would be without you.
My twin girls both were diagnosed with Autism at 3 years old. We had no eye contact, they were completely nonverbal and we couldn't go out anywhere without a severe meltdown occurring. On top of this they had major health issues. I didn't know where to turn for help. I was overwhelmed, and could not afford the costly medical treatments on my own. I was referred to Generation Rescue and our lives changed forever.
My girls were recipients of the Rescue Family Grant. The grant provided education, doctor visits and crucial supplements that addressed so many of the issues my girls struggled with. We saw major improvement during the grant program that continues through today. My girls now have constant eye contact, they can tell me "hi" and I "love you". A lot of their health issues have improved.
There is no doubt in my mind that we would not be as far as we are today without the help of Generation Rescue. It is an organization that truly helps families affected by Autism. GR uses the donations received towards providing medical treatment that families could not otherwise afford on their own. This treatment makes a world of difference in improvement of the issues that impact our children's lives. It is an amazing organization of individuals that care so much about helping children and families affected by Autism. I recommend GR to all newly diagnosed families I meet. Generation Rescue gave us the hope for recovery.
I have always felt the message Generation Rescue shares is a good one. Clean vaccines, educate yourself, and take certain steps to help improve your child's diagnosis. I find the information shared by this organization to be so valuable and the way they share it is available to everyone. They host the autism education summit every year where hundreds ofmparents come together to lrarn from Doctors and experts and it is always an exciting time. Its not just HOPE Generation Rescue provides but a sense of COMMUNITY that is everything to me and everyone I know that is involved. An excellent organization with an excellent purpose!
Generation Rescue -- is an amazing organization which I have come to love. My niece Caelan has autism and our family became involved with raising money and awareness for GR about 8 years ago. The programs and staff are one of a kind especially their Executive Director, Candace McDonald. They are extremely unique with their support to families - My family and I consider them family. They have moved the needle for their fundraising and passion for getting the "kids" access to doctors and treatments.
Generation Rescue is an amazing autism organization that I have been affiliated with for over 10 years. I chose to work with Generation Rescue because they have immediate help for families affected by autism. They offer guidance, education and financial support for those who need it. My family has helped Generation Rescue raise over $700,000 to help those in need of autism support. My 14 year old daughter has recovered from autism with all the things Generation Rescue suggests from first diagnosis to recovery. This organization is far superior than any other autism organization in the world.
Because kids that have special needs NEED organizations like Generation Rescue to help them through their journey of life. Even greater than that, the organization provides the families with grants that can help them with strategies and treatments that could be otherwise be considered unattainable and expensive. And in the grand scheme of it all, Generation Rescue educates others through events such as the Autism Summit. I am proud to be a volunteer that has worked behind the scenes, met lifelong friends, and advocatesfor the superheroes in my life: my students and friends that are on the autism spectrum. Thank you Generation Rescue!
Generation Rescue provides what few autism organizations can...reliable resources, emotional support, and financial assistance to families who qualify. I have been a part of Generation Rescue's effort to help children and families on the spectrum since its beginning and am proud of the mission and accomplishments of this amazing organization. Not only does Generation Rescue offer hope to families and affected loved ones, it also does it in a financially and professionally responsible way. It's an honor to be a part of this incredible group.
I have been volunteering and raising money for Generation Rescue for 9 years now. The assistance and support Generation Rescue gives families is tremendous!! So many families are lost when their child is diagnosed and GR helps them every step of the way! Many families wouldn't be able to afford the necessary assistance for their child if it wasn't for GR! They are literally changing lives with their dedication! I am HONORED to help every year!!
I have volunteered for Generation Rescue for 9 years now. We also hold a yearly event in Branson, Mo where all monies raised go to Generation Rescue!! So many families in my area have been able to do the bio medical grants provided by GR & their kids are doing amazing and are on their road to recovery. We support Generation Rescue because we know where the money we raise goes!! I love volunteering for all their events!! Meeting the families that their child has recovered from autism is the most rewarding feeling ever!!

I have been a volunteer for Generation Rescue for 6 years. This is the best foundation I have ever volunteered for. I have also been amazed watching kids recover with the bio medical grants. AMAZING FOUNDATION!!!
1. Vaccines don't cause Autism-that myth has been repeatedly debunked.
2. Why do we have to "rescue" people with autism. They aren't sick. Their brains work different. People with Autism are wonderful and unique in their own ways. Using interventions and ABA strategies can help them lead a more "normal" life, but they don't need rescuing or fixing. That's just offensive to every person living with Autism.
Words cannot express the full magnitude of my love for this organization! We came to know Generation Rescue when my son was first diagnosed I checked out their website and received a lot of great information on getting help we needed. I attended their conference in Dallas and that's where our lives were changed forever. We were a Rescue Grant Recipient and it was the miracle I had prayed for. My son was non-verbal and in less than 2 weeks with help from the grant my son said his first words! A year and a half now after our grant ended I have a happy, healthier, very talkative little boy. We have a way to go still but we continue to receive amazing support from Generation Rescue. They truly care about helping families with Autism directly! They have given us a lifetime of hope and love when families like ours need it the most. I cannot recommend them highly enough and am forever indebted to this organization for bringing my beautiful son out of the shadows and for giving me the tools to continue our journey into healing.
My family has been Donors/Supporters/Volunteers for GR for a number of years thanks to 2 amazing friends who became WARRIORS to educate each of us. We are comfortable donating to GR because we have witnessed the guidance/education and support given to local families. We believe in RECOVERY!
My son was not formally diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum until he was almost
21. However he was diagnosed with an intellectual disability, development delays and motor delays
before he was 9 months old. Through Generation Rescue we have seen many improvements in our
son's symptoms. Chief among the changes we made were in his diet
Gluten and Casein Free, supplements and the addition of specific medications to
reduce stress and inflammation. We also were referred to
doctors who specialize in Autism and neurological disorders.
Our son has made great strides in his confidence and ability in coping with sensory overload.
Generation Rescue truly cares about helping Autistic individuals lead the best life possible. They are a top-notch organization. I highly recommend GR to those looking for help dealing with Autism.
My daughter was diagnosed with Autism at 18 months. My wife and her best friend spent 48 hours straight trying to find the best organization to get involved with to not only help our daughter, but also use as a resource for additional help and guidance. They came across Generation Rescue and have never looked back. Whether through the amazing grant program that got our daughter on the road to recovery or the attention to detail that this organization gives to their clients, there is no substitute! We don't know what we would have done without GR!
I was introduced to Generation Rescue thru a friend who volunteers for them. The GR team has such great compassion for what they do and no question is to little to silly for them to answer. They do amazing things for communities and families thru their foundation and helping change the lives of some many!
I have sponsored as well as volunteerd for Generation Rescue. Their program has helped out so many children's lives in our community along with many other places. They are truly making sure donations go to the children. There are so many non for profits out there and I chose Generation Rescue as mine. I have seen first hand how they help families with autism. Their resources available to parents is amazing. They are there every step of the way working with families towards recovery.
I have helped with Rock the Spectrum every year, and I was one of the first grant families in Taney County. I have had support since I got involved. This is a great organization that loves to spread awareness and help families!
I have been a supporter of this amazing cause for a number of years. It is very important to me that the money raised at the local events stays here locally to help the families of the children in need. Generation Rescue helps educate the public and raise awareness of the alarming increase of autism in children. They offer solutions, guidance and help to the parents. I feel honored to help this wonderful organization.
Alarmed by the rise in both diagnosis of autism and the need for more engagement/action, my wife and I sought an organization bringing fresh ideas to the forefront of education and treatment. We found this in Generation Rescue. They continually push the envelope for research, treatment, grant provision, education and are a very impressive charity. We're happy to donate our money, time and resources to their cause.

We have been supporting GR for over 5 years. My wife and I have a beautiful Niece who was diagnosed over 8 years ago. With the help of GR and others she is on the road of a healthy recovery. I can't say enough good things about the staff and particularly Candace McDonald, Executive Director. Their professionalism, caring hearts and love of children and families is amazing. They Truly help those families in need to get the treatments that insurance doesn't cover. I consider it an honor and privilege to be associated with them and urge others to support these families in anyway they can
My son was diagnosed with PDD-NOS (Autism) in May of 2012. At that moment I didn't know how to feel or what to do, but I knew I had to do something! I didn't get any hope from his pediatrician or the neurologist that diagnosed him at the time. I just basically got a vibe from them that all hopes and dreams for my son's future where pretty much over. They advised traditional therapy and that was it. No real resources or treatment options were provided and I did not feel comfortable at all with their response. So, I immediately started to do my own research online and remembered seeing Jenny McCarthy on tv talking about her son and his journey with Autism. I then found Generation Rescue's website and began to become familiar with the site. I knew I didn't have money to take my son to see specialist or try different medications and therapies outside of the services he received at school. Lucky me I found a link on Generation Rescue's website to apply for a family grant for biomedical treatment. I was so excited to learn that we met all the criteria to apply! The process was by far the easiest I've ever been through! Shortly after applying I received an email stating that we were one of the grant recipients and life changed for us after that! I now had the hope that I'd been searching for. Because of GR my son was able to see a doctor that specializes in dealing with Autism. I would have never been able to afford that doctor's visit without the grant from GR. I also learned so much about how the body works and how the gut and immune system plays such a huge role in the health of the brain and the body as a whole. I wouldn't have known anything about biomedical treatment and what it can do to help children diagnosed with this terrible disorder! Not to mention the benefits my son has gained since starting the gluten free/casein free diet with the help of GR a litttle over a year ago. He is slowly making steps forward in the right direction and I am so thankful to GR! I couldn't possibly repay them for what they've done for my son. I hope to always have a relationship with GR and I always tell people about the awesome non-profit that helped me and so many others around the world. I can't think of a better experience..everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire 3 month study we were a part of. What more can I say Generation Rescue rocks!!!

August 2012 Grant Recipient
Generation Rescue gave my son the opportunity to get the medical attention that he needed when they provided us with a 3 month grant for bio-medical treatment that has literally changed our lives for the better!! Thank you, Generation Rescue, for all that you do to support those families affected by autism!!
When my 20 month old son regressed into autism, I heard about generation rescue. I applied for their grant program, received wonderful diet advice and support, 3 months of supplements, testing and a visit to a doctor who specializes in autism.
My son's ATEC at diagnosis was 105. My son's ATEC after the 3 month program was in the 50s. He was making eye contact, smiling, stopped getting frequent illness, was able to interact with us more. This is worth any amount of money. We owe them everything, and are so thankful. My son simply would not be so far down the road to recovery if not for GR!
My experience with Generation Rescue was new nothing short of miraculous! Through their grant program , I was able to finally initiate the diet protocols that seemed so daunting to do alone! Along with the all of the other amazing things they supported us with, we were able to do lab testings for my sons urine and stool and hair and determine causes of dis-ease and potential causes to
Why he was feeling and behaving so negatively before. After we learned more about how to use diet, supplements and additional biomedical consultation our life began to improve drastically. My son
Became more social, gained more language and just in general has improved. I know he is feeling better since he is less
Aggressive and more Communicative now. Autism is not a quick fix and these folks at GR know that. They are there to support the many families like mine who need help navigating a poorly understood disease that is completely life altering and debilitating to do with no direction. No one thing is right for everyone, but this was what was right for us! They are Angels in my book, especially Stephanie and Candace! They go above and beyond to reach out to our whole nation and make us all feel loved and know our struggles, this is huge! For once I felt like someone wasn't trying to take my money selling me snake oil! I finally felt like I could believe again! And I do!!

Years ago , I remember hearing about Jenny MCCarthy's story in the media. It was very exciting to me to hear a story about a mother recovering her child from autism in the news because although deep within my soul I knew there had to be a way to recovery, I had only heard autism is for life, no cure, essentially a death sentence for my son. My doctor even told me i should mourn the son i didnt get! It gave me so much hope for possibilities after seeing her story, yet the reality of being able to access the protocol she had given her son seemed a mere fantasy. My thoughts were ,"yeah this is awesome, but unless I have the kind of money and influence to be heard, it's unlikely my son could ever have this same opportunity ." Boy am I delighted to admit how wrong I was. Fast forward six years later and I am having dinner with a friend , she tells me after hearing how desperate for answers I am about Generation Rescues Grant program. I'll never forget that night because its changed our lives in ways that I never dreamed possible. They helped us become gluten and casein free which alone did wonders for my son! But they also provided us with education, supplements, access to a DAN doctor, and ongoing support as we navigate through this pathway to healing. The most significant thing to share though for me is that my son is 14 years old. We've been looking for answers for over 12 years and feel like these ARE the answers that are helping to finally recover my son. I didn't know or see how his severe bowel and digestion problems were causing his behaviors. We've been treating the behaviors! But as soon as we treated the person, we received the healing we've been longing for!! Thank you Generation Rescue for providing my son with this life changing opportunity. We are so grateful and honored that you care enough to give this help to us and those in need!
I have two sons with autism that received a rescue grant. They have made huge gains since July and I am amazed. We couldn't afford this otherwise. I am so thankful for GR.
I am shocked by some of the reviews on this site that are trying to discredit Generation Rescue. They are one of the only organizations that is truly helping families with Autism treatment. My son was non-verbal, he never looked at me and doctors told me that he would stay this way for life. We received a family grant from Generation Rescue and we received one on one doctor consultations and started biomedical treatment. My son now calls me daddy, and looks me in the eyes. He continues to improve every day. We are grateful for the team at Generation Rescue and all the support they provide families who truly need help.
Leading the way to changing how the world sees autism and it's recovery.

I've been volunteering my time to GR for years and am a proud support to this day!!
Love this org, love that they have helpful resources and dedicate their time to helping kids with autism!
Generation Rescue is one of the most altruistic organizations I have come across. They believe in recovery and provide families, such as my own, with hope, which at times can be very difficult to hold. Their website is such a great resource with information on both prevention and treatment options, with helpful links and other references.
I do not believe this to be an anti-vaccination organization. Nothing on their website or social media pages have suggested that they are against vaccines. I just watched a video on their page with Jenny McCarthy clearly stating, "I am not anti-vaccine." They simply believe in informed health decision and I think they are a great resource!
The staff is a caring and compassionate. I don't know what more could be asked of a Great Nonprofit?
Generation Rescue has done immeasurable harm to children, and continues to do so, by promoting an anti-vaccine position that is not based in any legitimate medical science. Every dollar given to this so-called charity is two dollars worth of harm to society. Save your money and your time for a legitimate charity.
You have to be kidding me. Jenny McCarthy has contributed to junk forwarding conspiracy theories that have been completely discredited by the medical community. If you go to any respected Autism organizations website they will likely have a FAQ that clearly states that there is NO connection between Autism and Vaccines. Jenny McCarthy should be ashamed of herself. Any money donated to this ridiculous cause is money that could have gone to actual science. I wish I could give fewer than 1 stars.
I'm sorry, but how did this become one of the best Nonprofits of 2013? The originator of the vaccine/autism link was found to have falsified and distorted his research. There has been no link found between vaccines and autism. In fact the USA has suffered from a startling reappearance of diseases that we had all but eliminated from the population and these outbreaks can be directly linked to populations that are refusing to vaccinate their children due to fears that organizations like McCarthy's have perpetuated. Everybody wants to help autistic children, but we do not need to cause unborn babies to die or be born horribly disfigured because McCarthy managed to scare already worried parents into believing that there is a straight forward cause. Any organization that spreads such scares and helps cause these outbreaks we have seen is reckless and amoral. This is an organization I could never support.
This charity is dangerous at best offering disinformation and lies about vaccination. Vaccination has saved countless lives in the modern world and this charity is pure fear mongering and pseudo science. The fact that this is even considered a charity is deeply disappointing.
This charity has impact but its all bad.
Based on pseudo-science, there is no link between vaccines and autism. The views of this non-profit are not just insane they are extremely harmful.
This "charity" is spreading lies, an insanity.
Lets not destroy the wonderful progress science made to raise human quality of life.
If the goal you wish to achieve by donating to charity is to endanger many children's lives and spread lies about vaccinations, then by all means donate to this lying, deceitful "charity".
The idea that vaccinations cause autism has been thoroughly debunked. Children who cannot get vaccinations due to genuine health problems like compromised immune systems are put at risk when communities don't vaccinate their children due to this misinformation.
An organization that ignores the repeated scientific studies that show that vaccinating children is safe and effective is having the opposite effect of what is promised. Shame.
Jenny McCarthy is famous so we should trust her more than doctors! That was sarcasm, idiots. Get your children vaccinated for christ's sake.
This is ridiculous. Certain members of society, babies and the elderly, need protection from the many horrific illnesses that could be prevented if people got their vaccinations. Like measles, if your 5 year old child is a carrier (wasn't vaccinated) and he/she comes into contact with my two month old, there is a huge risk to my child's health. This is only prevented with vaccinations. My children should not be at risk because of a minute, if even plausible, possibility.
I cannot believe that an organization that promotes the deadly practice of not vaccinating children could possibly be considered a 'great nonprofit'. This organizations practices are literally killing children. Measles and other cases of completely preventable diseases are skyrocketing thanks to the nonsense and pseudoscience being promoted by organizations such as this.
Shocking that this is here and shocking that people are still believing in this. People are actually dying as as a result of the publicity this woman gets.

Generation Rescue is a nonprofit organization that advocates the view that autism and related disorders are primarily caused by environmental factors, particularly vaccines. These claims are biologically implausible and lack convincing scientific evidence.
I have 2 boys that were diagnosed with autism 6 years ago. I would have given anything to have the support that GR provides for those who choose biomedical intervention. It was a long, lonely road for this momma. I am so excited to be a part of this group and encourage other families. I would have loved to have the Rescue Grant opportunity many years ago as well. GR is making a difference one family and one child at a time.
We received a rescue grant from Generation Rescue for my son Tyler. He was diagnosed with Autism in January 2013 and we started the grant in April. Since starting the grant my son went from non verbal to Speaking about 100 words , he is also much more engaged and about to start school in November. We feel he is on his way to recovery. Everyone at Generation Rescue had been awesome especially Stephanie. Since the grant has ended they still keep us up to date on other studies or grants we may qualify for such at the current one we are in with BIORAY. Without them we would not have come this far in this short amount of time...
Generation Rescue is truly a well-run non-profit! Their effective messaging and work around helping benefit autism affected families is admirable
My go to site for all things relative to treating, curing and healing my don's Autism. I send all newly diagnosed friends, family and acquaintances to Generation Rescue. I'm hoping to become a Rescue Angel to expand my use and referral of Generation Rescue!
I have been volunteering with GR as a Rescue Angel and a Grant Mentor for a very long time. I also have personal experience in running a non-profit and have experienced the pitfalls and challenges that organizations go through. Generation Rescue continues to grow and get better with each passing day. If they experience challenges, they certainly don't show it. I am the parent of two boys on the spectrum. They are 14 and 11 now and I only wish I would have had the support of GR when I was starting the journey. They are so warm, welcoming and supportive. The worst part of having a child with Autism (at least for me) was feeling alone and lost to navigate all of the data. Only having internet stories (mostly negative) to help us along. GR provides so much positive input, provides the HOPE needed to get through those tough days. THANKS for being a bright spot in an often times dark tunnel!!
I became a rescue angel many years ago. I am still friends with some of the families that found me on line. When I moved to a new state I got a ton of support from another rescue angel.
After participating in Round 1 of the Rescue Family Grant Program in 2009, I have had the honor of becoming a volunteer parent mentor for the program in 2012. I am truly humbled by the dedication and caring of the staff for families, including mine. They genuinely are committed to helping children start on the path to healing autism. Generation Rescue and the wonderful sponsors of this program have made such a difference in so many lives when help is rare and hard to come by. I appreciate the opportunity to connect with new families and hopefully make the journey a little less daunting as I know how overwhelming and lonely it can be. You rock GR ;@)

Our experience with Generation Rescue started in August 2009 when our family was accepted into the very first round of the Rescue Family Grant program. My twin sons were diagnosed with severe autism in 2008, and although I read about biomedical treatments and wanted to try them, our family was not in a position to try anything due to financial restraints. After a year of no progress and not happy with the "there's nothing but therapy" approach from our pediatrician, I finally decided enough was enough and started the GFCF diet as that was all we were able to do. Being accepted in to the grant program 4 months later was huge for us as we never would have been able to afford to try specialty vitamins and supplements in order to see if they would make a difference along with the diet. We were supported with implementing the diet and starting basic supplements along with 2 doctor visits and a parent mentor. Without GR getting us started there is nothing else out there I have been able to find that would have helped us in this way.
Three years later, I have had the opportunity to become involved as a parent mentor volunteer for the family grant program that gave us our start as a way to help other families at the start of their journey. This program has evolved and continued to offer families such a wealth of information, desperately needed resources, and most of all moral support. There really is nothing else out there like it.The staff at GR as well as the companies who make the program possible go above and beyond in their efforts to help families struggling with autism remain hopeful on the long road to recovery. I can tell you the road is long - since we started the program in 2009 I had a third child diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and my oldest has neurological issues as well. I would sincerely recommend GR to any family who wants to learn more about biomedical protocols and encourage you to apply for the family grant program.
Not only is the website a great educational resource but each year in May they also have the gold standard in autism conferences , Autism One in Chicago and it is streamed FREE online so families can stay on top of the latest treatments and research. Autism in not only overwhelming and isolating, it is expensive, so to have access to a week long conference free (or minimal cost if you attend in person) is amazing.
Thank you Generation Rescue for all of your hard work to help families like mine, we are sincerely grateful to you and everyone that makes this possible. The message of hope for recovery is one our family keeps in our hearts.
I started working with Generation Rescue in April 2012 as a Grant Mentor for their Rescue Families grant program. I have seen so many families and their children benefit from this program. I have seen children that were completely non-verbal when they started, start speaking. I have seen children that use to only eat a couple of foods, start to eat many more. The list of benefits just goes on and on.

After my son recovered from autism spectrum disorder via bio-medical intervention, I just had to help spread the word. After all none of my sons previous doctors or therapists had told me about bio-med. Thankfully an online friends shared with me her story. It was a life changing experience for my son and I just had to let other parents know about this resource. That is when I found Generation Rescue! I read about their grant program, their rescue angels, and all the wonderful work they do for our children recovering from autism. I knew I had to get involved! I am now a grant mentor for their grant program that helps cover the cost of the initial bio-medical treatment. Which is wonderful, because I have talked to many families that have held back trying bio-medical intervention because of the cost. They are 100% sincere in all they do for the families out there, and I hope to continue to be a part of their organization for a long time.
I attend Generation Rescue Fund raiser Events whtch are very well done and raise autism awareness.Autism affects all of us and Generation Rescue is a Priceless Resource for anyone interested in learning about the condition of people affected by autism and their family members.

Being a financial planner with the ability to help families with special need family members on the financial side, it has given me a great way to add even more value to my clients by recommending Generation Rescue as an incredible informational website. It is an amazing organization which provides great educational information on autism, healthy living, and works to raise the level of awareness for autism.
While trying to find help for my then 4-year-old son with severe regressive autism, I came across Generation Rescue. After reading about the program and expectations of grant recipients I was determined to get my son in to the program.
After many e-mails back and forth between myself and the grant director, my son was accepted! Throughout the 3 month program we were offered daily support and encouragement. Stephanie walked us through every step and answered questions promptly. I felt understood for the first time since receiving my sons diagnosis. And truly supported in his recovery.
Since our grant with Generation Rescue my son has improved beyond what was ever expected. We still e-mail with the staff at Generation Rescue when we have questions or need recommendations. They go above and beyond and truly care about everyone they work with.
Generation Rescue is one of the most valuable non profits for the autism community I have found yet. It provides relevant and cutting edge information on a broad range of topics for any family who has a child with autism, including; bio-medical intervention, therapeutic interventions and a limitless supply of inspiration and support. Generation Rescue is a home and true gift to any family with an autistic child.
Fabulous Organization! Generation Rescue was the organization I turned to when traditional medicine failed me. I needed answers, not excuses, and I need support, not judgments. Generation Rescue offered everything I needed and more. Their Rescue Angels helped guide me in a direction that would eventually lead to cherished friendships, and their DAN doctors led me down a road that would eventually lead to recovery. Without Generation Rescue, my son would not be anywhere near recovery, yet today; I can sit here and tell you that he has made strides that traditional doctors said were impossible.
As a volunteer for Generation Rescue, I feel like it is my chance to help others who are currently walking in my shoes. I feel like I can reach out to those scared, sad, and sometimes helpless individuals and shine a small light of hope in their window. Generation Rescue is a great organization; it is made up of parents of children with Autism. We are the best advocates for our children, we are the ones living along side their struggles everyday, and when they are unable to tell their story, we are there to tell it for them.
Generation Rescue first gave me the hope I needed to start recovering my autistic son. I have never met a more compassionate group who really care about what they do to serve the autism community. It does work; my son is nearly recovered. I then became a volunteer, and it has been the most rewarding experience I've had. On all levels, if it had not been for Generation Rescue, my son (and the rest of the family) would not be where we are today: a wonderful family with two thriving young boys.
Generation Rescue is such a blessing to the community. GR is not some cold, corporate organization. GR is an amazing group of people that I'm glad to call my family. Their dedication to the cause is inspiring and their efforts I am beyond thankful for. My family is one of the many that was fortunate enough to be a part of their grant program, and I honestly do not know where we would be without the support and resources GR provides. I am proud to be a supporter of Generation Rescue!
Generation Rescue has helped guide me, a terrified parent, through the journey that is autism. Autism, a word that still strikes fear in most people, is my life now and without the help of those in Generation Rescue, I wouldn't have half the information and help we've attained since our son was diagnosed. They are bold pioneers helping millions of families who don't know where else to go.
How do I put into words my feelings towards Generation Rescue. The first that comes to mind is simply Grateful! When I found out about my son’s diagnosis I immediately turned to the computer to search for answers as to what to do, where to go, and what did an ASD diagnosis really mean to my son and my family. Generation Rescue was the first site I went on. I was aware of Jenny McCarthy’s quest for Autism so I felt the site was a great place to start. From the first video I watch about her experiences with her son to stories of so many other families it was at that moment I realized what I was up against. Challenges, I do not fear especially after listening to parents going through their own battles to find answers. It made me feel like I wasn’t alone in this blind journey that at times can make you feel very alone. Unless you have hands on experience of life with Autism you really can’t grasp how difficult it is to not have definitive answers to your child’s health. What I feared most is not being able to provide my son what is necessary for him to get better. This is where participating in Generation Rescue’s grant program gave us a glimmer of hope. Unfortunately, we lost our business when the economy crashed and it has been a struggle to recover. It seemed impossible that we would be able to get CJ the therapies he needed. Then I clicked on a button that said apply for a grant and was so excited to be a part of the 9th round grant program. We had such big strives with CJ during the supplemental protocol. Therapists, teachers, family, and friends have been amazed to see the changes in CJ since he has been introduced to the program. Not to mention the blogs and all the resources available on the site really helped in my quest for research. It made it easier to have one place to go that not only provided me with information but also a support system. The staff is also so amazing at Generation Rescue. Anytime I had specific questions it was answered in a timely manner. I felt like the program coordinator Stephanie really cared about my son’s achievements. I can’t say enough about Generation Rescue, its staff, and the hope it has given my family. It will continue to be the number one resource for my family. Our experience has inspired us so much that my husband and I are putting a huge concerted effort to help raise funds for the organization so they can continue to do all that they did for my family. I thank you for giving us hope, I thank you for giving me answers when no one could, and I thank you for improving my son’s future.
When my son was diagnosed with autism those were the darkest days of our life. The conventional doctors gave us no hope and no solutions. Then I happened upon Generation Rescue and found a few Rescue Angels that gave me that hope and gave me some guidance. They pointed me in the direction of biomedical doctors that had proven success. Also, at Generation Rescue is a goldmine of information, resources, and partners. Generation Rescue was definitely an integral part in recovering my son from autism.
I was so hopeful to get approved for a grant with generation rescue since I have read all of Jenny mccarthy's books. That I couldn't wait for my son to get the treatment and supplements he needed. I got approved and was beyond excited and ready to make the change. I was required to pay 100 bucks for labs in order for me to get my package with supplements. Not a problem it is was going to go back to my son anyways when he gets the bloodwork done. After a few weeks I got the supplements started the gfcf diet and the supplememts. I immediately saw a difference in my son for the better. At this point I am still waiting to be assigned to a Dan! Doctor the entire grant period I never got to see a doctor or get his labs I only git half of what the grant offered I kept my end of the deal and they didn't. The person responisble for this never rectified the situation. She ignored allemails from.me and kept my money. I was and still am very disappointed with the way things were handled. My son never got to experience the entire treatment nor did I get any advice from a specialty doctor. Apply at your own risk.
