Hand in Hand has provided consistent, loving guidance to our family for the past few years. Both the behaviorist and never-let-your-child-cry models are inconsistent with our parenting values. Finding an approach that honored our children's need to express their feelings with a loving adult to listen deeply in a variety of ways was just what we needed. We have taken online courses, had in person and Skype consultations, use the parents forum, read numerous articles, listened to podcasts, found listening partners, and have otherwise utilized many of the resources HandinHand offers. We wish all educators and families had access to this wonderful approach to supporting our children!
