I was a struggling adoptive mum when I first came across Hand in Hand Parenting. I was aiming to be a therapeutic parent and falling short, triggered by my daughter’s big emotions. Hand in Hand not only provided me with practical tools that made sense for a child with separation trauma, they gave me support like no other parenting program had and they’ve been there for me ever since. I don’t know where I’d be on my parenting journey without a Hand in Hand. I am also in private practice as a therapist and parent coach where I share the tools daily with my clients and hear how they too are seeing the difference Listening and Connection makes.
