I want to recognize the small but mighty organization called the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County (DRC-MC). I've been so impressed with the volunteers and staff here over the last 14 years that I've known about them. Folks who work with the DRC-MC are professional, respectful, and compassionate. Their mediation program and mediation training is affordable and of the highest quality. Conflict resolution programs including Peer Mediation, Peace Camps, Juvenile Justice, Bookmark Art Contest provide exceptional value and connection to our community.

As a volunteer mediator with the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County since 2011 and a board member for two terms I am pleased to share my great admiration for this organization. Our mission to provide and promote affordable, high-quality dispute resolution services and training in our county is carried out with great heart and hard work. Volunteers and staff alike care deeply about serving the individuals, families, and businesses who come to us. It has been a pleasure to be part of such an excellent nonprofit!

My experience as a mediator with the DRC-MC has been positive over the last seven years. The shared goal of providing affordable, high-quality dispute resolution services, along with continuing mediator training, has built a strong organization. I have been honored to work with talented, compassionate mediators who bring their unique styles to the table. A strong administrative staff and caring board provide constant support and guidance. Deciding disputes in court may be more expensive and adversarial than necessary. Alternatively, I recommend using mediation at the DRC.
