Once in a while you run across a virtuoso in the medical field who is all about quality of life and not simply enamored with capital and a surgery job. Dr. Robert Cameron has become the expert in mesothelioma (in hospitals and for the Legal biz) and was kind enough to find creative solutions to my very large fibrous tumor that was pressing on my lung and heart and attached to my diaphram. Other chest surgeons that I went to wanted to remove the turmor and possibly the lung. Dr. Cameron saved my lung and my life and I continue to enjoy a quality of life because of him. I will continue to help Dr. Cameron and his Executive Director, Clare Cameron in every way possible. If you have medothelioma and want the latest and greatest....Dr. Cameron is your solution without a doubt. He is kind, sensitive, intellectual, and a superb surgeon. Everyone should support the Pacific Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and their research.
