SPCA's Operation military pets program is a godsend for us military families that pcs across oceans; we moved from Guam to Hawaii. Our dog is a rescue that we adopted in Guam, she is very anxious and becomes very scared around strangers, I never could have left her there. I worried about the expenses that transporting my pet would incur along with everything else that came along with moving; temporary housing, hotels, flights, food...etc! It's overwhelming, I am so grateful that there's a program out there that cares about military pets and keeping military families together.
