As a long-time caregiver, it helps to know there are folks out there who can help connect me to the resources and support I need. The Pain Community is my go-to organization.

As a caregiver of a loved one who has lived with pain for nearly 30 years now, having support is important. It is important for the person living with pain to be able to connect with others who live with pain. It is equally important for the caregiver to connect with other caregivers. Even though the pain affects the person in pain and the caregiver differently, the feelings each have are valid and most be validated. The Pain Community understands this and reaches out to both and provides support, comfort, compassion and empathy.

I am a caregiver to my spouse who has lived with pain for 25+ years. We have the usual ups and downs and when you add in a life of pain it takes it to a whole different level. I have found The Pain Community to be helpful in supporting both of us, her as the person living with pain and myself as the caregiver. It helps to be able to reach out to others who do understand this life we lead.

The Pain Community has a small group of volunteers who are passionate about helping people living with pain. They volunteer countless hours of their time to make sure people living with pain have the support they need and a safe place to go for support, compassion and education.
