I have been involved with Action in Africa for 5 years and have experienced first hand the life changing work that has been done for the people of this community. In an effort to enrich the lives of all of its members, AIA provides a number of programs geared towards educational development and personal empowerment. "The center", AIA's home base, provides a safe place for everyone and anyone who walks through the front door. At "The Center" Children can participate in a variety of programs including creative workshops, English classes, music classses, group study sessions and more. "The Center" also provides free HIV testing, free haircuts and other programs offered on a monthly basis. The work that Action in Africa is doing is nothing short of inspiring and I would recommend anyone who wants to make difference to get involved.
