Review for PCI Media Impact, Inc., New York, NY, USA
In 2008, when I retired from UNICEF, PCI Media Impact asked me to fill in as interim Director of Programs. Over the next 10 months I witnessed first-hand what a wonderful organization it is, despite the fact that it had fallen on hard times. Since I left, it has been remarkable to witness the organization's rapid turn-around. New, dynamic leadership and wise guidance on the part of its board have combined to grow PCI Media Impact into a truly global organization that uses innovative Entertainment Education and Communication for Development methodologies to make the world a better place. Their model is rights-based, participatory, respectful of people's dignity and culture, and relies on evidence to measure results, across an array of burning issues at the core of the Sustainable Development Agenda. They have gained the trust of communities and donors, harnessed new and traditional media to promote justice and social change. My communication consulting company is proud to partner with CEO Sean Southey and his team and would recommend them to organizations and governments seeking to make a difference for people and planet. -- Robert Cohen, Director, Rain Barrel Communications LLC
