I recently attended the Champions of the Earth event in NYC sponsored by the UN. It was a great event and PCI Media did a fabulous job organizing and managing this event. The skill they showed made the event a truly memorable experience for all who attended.
I am Vice Chair of the Board of NY/NJ Baykeeper and I was recently thrilled to be able to attend, along with other members of our organization, the Champions of the Earth event event sponsored by the UN at Cipriani in NYC. The event was a huge success with every detail scene to in an incredibly professional and seamless manner. It was organized, planned and executed by PCI Media Impact, and both their skill and level of care for the cause were more than evident all night long. The art of storytelling used in all their work was clear throughout the evening. You could not but be moved by the lives, and ideas, and yes, creations of the young people being honored. That was true not only because of the incredible stories of the young people, but of the way the stories were told. That is precisely why this group is so effective. The ability to use stories to move the world is incredibly valuable, and PCI Media does it flawlessly.
I recently had the district privilege of attending the 2018 Champions of the Earth gala dinner at Cipriani, here in New York, sponsored by the UN. PCI Media Impact organized, planned and managed the event. Thanks to their suburb direction and coordination the evening was a complete success from beginning to end--a gala indeed. Their professionalism was always in evidence throughout the evening's program, a quite complex one that required perfect timing and first class attention to every detail. Their skill and experience with events such as this one insured that the young environmental Honorees, the stars of the evening, were honored in a manner befitting their unique contributions to the betterment of our planet. One had only to listen to their comments and look in their eyes to understand that they were awed by the incredible reception they received. PCI was magnifigant, guaranteeing that everything just flowed and fit together beautifully. The event was a total success for these incredible young people and the United Nations, not to mention all in attendance. Kudos to PCI absolutely!
PCi Media Impacts' recent work with the UN Environment presenting the Young Champions of the Earth illuminated the importance of "outside of the box"and innovative thinking with regard to environmental issues around the world. The presentations by the Young Champions left us inspired and hopeful. PCI Media Impact's work was excellent and its goals accomplished.
PCI Media is the most hard working, socially connected, and kind hearted non-profit organization. I have been working here for about four months now in the communication section , and I have to say the genuinity, kindness and hard work that each and every individual inputs is unbelievable. It is an extremely safe environment and welcoming to anyone who is willing to give a hand. I learned how to communicate with people through writing and blog posting. PCI Media also has created way in which we can all keep in contact with each other through an app, which shows the commitment PCI has for keeping everyone on the same page, no one gets left behind or not up to date about information. By far an amazing non-profit organization.
I volunteered with PCI the summer before I started college. It is an amazing company dedicated to serving the people in its realm and they are always looking to expand and cultivate new ideas. This company thrives on ideas and new thinking and thus will always be prosperous when it comes to any new mission.
The WILD FOR LIFE campaign in collaboration with UN Environment was very effective and eye-catching. It attracted attention to the issues in a novel and engaging way. Excellent work.
PCI Media hosted me for an internship where I worked with their environmental portfolio doing phenomenal work. Their strength lies in their capacity building approach that gives global communities the tools to address environmental threats in their communities. Unafraid to tackle diverse challenges and work with leading organizations, PCI Media takes a refreshing and impact approach to social and environmental issues.
Some great ideas and projects for educating through story telling. Particularly beneficial in helping educate to prevent unnecessary infant mortalities in Africa (East and Southern) through the Healthy Pregnancy, Healthy Child package.
Innovative nonprofit using SBCC and Entertainment-Education to bring major changes to the world. I was particularly impressed by their work around Ebola in West Africa. This was not just about spreading health and hygeine messages but also about reintegrating survivors into society. A very valuable part of the process which can be neglected in the heat of an emergency. Displays the holistic approach exemplified by this organization.
This organization really stands out. PCI Media use storytelling and communication to make a difference. They work in Latin America and Africa and around the world. Their impact is vast.
PCI Media Impact is a non-profit with heart and soul, and I would say a lot of that is because of its present CEO, Sean Southey who is a dynamic, devoted and enlightened communicator. My first contact with Sean was at a cocktail party and when he heard about my new organisation, One Minute for Earth, he was very excited, supportive and encouraging, and invited me to contact him if I wanted to talk about ideas. So I did and Sean was extremely generous with his time and inspiration. PCI has since invited One Minute for Earth to be part of their #NatureForAll campaign for which we created a New Year's campaign called "Make Your New Year's Resolution a Nature Solution". Working with PCI is always inspiring and fun, and always a learning experience. What strikes me the most about PCI Media Impact is their ability to work collaboratively. They encourage it, promote it, nurture it. We are one global community and it is through working together that we will achieve all that we dream of.
I have worked with PCI Media Impact from 5th to 8th of this month in Dhaka in a workshop named "Entertainment Education and transmedia communication for development". Working with such an amazing team of people is a great experience for me. This workshop was mainly for the development of adolescents and the adolescent members of this workshop were given the most importance. It was a very positive view. I wish I could get the opportunity to work with them again. A lot of good wishes for PCI media impact.
We at Tinta Vital, a Mexican start-up company, began collaborating with PCI Media Impact only recently, as of January 2017, specifically for the production of a comic book for the #NatureForAll campaign. Although our collaboration is very new, from the very start we have gotten a clear sense of partnership with PCI Media Impact. This is translating for us into a team-like feeling, as if it were PCI's decided intention to also create success stories by bolstering the strengths and capacities of its partners. I bet that, if I were a small, well-meaning company in a remote community of a very poor country, partnering with PCI Media Impact would empower my company's efforts towards making the urgently needed social changes for a better world. - Beatriz Padilla, CEO
PCI Media Impact values story, believes in collaboration, and isn't afraid of taking on challenging subjects. Spending time working with their team on a campaign has been an incredible learning experience. I saw first hand how much passion they have for stories that can cultivate positive change in the world. What shined the most was the teams openness. They rarely say "no", and are committed to making sure everyone who is a part of a project contributes and has their voice reflected in a final product. And, those products address difficult and complicated subjects. The lessons I have learned from the team will continue to shape me as a person. They are a special group to work with.
PCI Media Impact epitomizes the true essence of integrity, creativity and commitment. Its excellence in inspiring positive social and environmental change through creative storytelling stems first and foremost from the dedication and compassion of its exceptional team and their innovative ability to raise awareness and empower communities around the world. I recently had the resounding privilege of interning with PCI Media and can happily affirm that the time I spent with this aspiring team of individuals was nothing short of unforgettable.
PCI Media Impact operates as a team of dedicated, passionate individuals who make a concerted effort to effect tangible change in the world. I interned with PCI for three months, primarily with the Environment Programs department, and can personally attest to its outreach capacity. The projects implemented by PCI are unique in their ability to captivate audiences through creative storytelling. They create real, visible behavior changes and lead to positive impacts for a variety of causes across the globe. I have been fortunate enough to experience this first-hand, and am proud to have been part of this incredible team of people.
The highly professional, well targeted stories prepared by PCI Media Impact are valuable, attractive resources for my courses, trainings almost all of the fields of sustainable development. PCI is amplifying the strength of storytelling by message-tailored format and design that my students, trainees and partners highly appreciate. If you want your story to articulate properly and spread around the world I recommend to contact this ambitious and mindful team.
We had the opportunity to meet PCI's Executive Director, Sean Southey, this last year and directly observe his, and his team's, passion and commitment to their work. It was impressive and inspiring and to see their level of expertise in creating and implementing a complete branding brand package for the IUCN's Nature For All program. Cheers to PCI Media Impact, and all that they do to make the world a better place through their unique nonprofit-niche.
