My boyfriend Jacob and I started looking to rescue early into the summer of 2016 with the hopes of in no time having a new friend. We hit many roadblocks with other agencies and quickly became discouraged with the process of adoption. We applied for Promises Animal Rescue, as we were very interested in one of the dogs from there, and from that moment on everything turned around! We were moving through the process much faster than other agencies and quickly learned we had been approved to adopt. The owner, Debbie Thomas, did everything to make sure we were finding the right fit for our lives. After a couple of visits with different available dogs, our hearts were set on one. Debbie was so accommodating through the entire process and without her we would not have had such as successful adoption. Promises Animal Rescue has far exceeded our expectations and we are truly blessed with our new friend Talon (Previously Reeva). She brings so much joy to our lives and was well worth the wait! If you are considering adopting, we definitely recommend Promises Animal Rescue!
