I was gifted an Honor and Remember flag to honor my uncle lost in Germany in WWII 1945. He has not been recovered. I gifted a flag to an uncle of my husband who was also lost in WWII. He was a POW on a hell’s hip and will never be recovered. I asked how I could help this wonderful organization and the Ohio Chapter president asked me to be on the board. I am so thankful to be a part of this organization to meet these wonderful families of our heroes

I was introduced to the Ihio Honor and Remember chapter in 2015. I was gifted a flag in my Morhers memory for her baby brother who was killed and his body was never found in Germany in WWII.
I in turn gifted a flag to my husbands uncle. His brother was also lost in WWII. A POW in Japan and was killed on a Hellship and he was never found .
Our Ohio Chapter with Tom Mitchell presented both flags at the annual concert in Hamilton, Ohio. I was so moved at this presentation, that I offered to help Tom in any way I could .
To my surprise, he invited me to join the board, I am so proud to be a part of this great organization, and hope to be able to stay involved with them.
