Review for T E N Charities (a.k.a. Her Future Coalition), St Augustine, FL, USA
In my experience, The Emancipation Network is an amazing organization comprised of truly giving people. I spent a month in Kolkata, India teaching survivors of human trafficking and slavery metalsmithing skills so they can produce jewelry and become economically independent. An entire metal working studio needed to be set up, not an easy feat, a language barrier needed to be tackled amongst other challenges. We accomplished these goals through the dedication of the Network but so many more survivors could be helped with increased funding.

In India. I've seen the sense of purpose economic solvency gives these young women. A huge win for them emotionally. Witnessing their progress, drive and creativity was a special treat. A girl who was a complete introvert started speaking and smiling.
