This organization provides the oversight of our government that Congress should be doing, but is failing miserably at. It takes groups like POGO made of private citizens to weed out the waste, fraud and corruption in our federal government. It also tries to get the government back within its constitutionally delineated duties, because the federal government has grossly expanded between the limited responsibilities it was supposed to have - protect our liberties, provide for the common defence and promote international commerce.
