Those on the hunt for real news soon despair of mainstream media, but it's also easy to despair of keeping up with online resources. E-mail is eating my life, so I'm forced to cut back -- but I never think of cutting POGO. Theirs is a larger vision -- evident in their overall approach to and understanding of the issues, which goes far beyond presenting stories that won't be stale in a week.
