ITDRC has been a massive asset in the recovery of West Virginia after the 1,000 Year Flood in June of 2016. When my team of AmeriCorps members arrived in Nicholas County to set up a Volunteer Reception Center, ITDRC had already set up a high speed internet connection and brought several laptops and tablets for our use. Without this technology, our mission would have been almost impossible to complete on time. We were able to use the high speed internet and very fast laptops and iPads to track volunteers and work sites. With the help of ITDRC, volunteers and disaster teams can work quickly and efficiently to help those in need.
