Review for The Oral Cancer Foundation, Santa Fe, NM, USA
I would have been lost without OCF. The forums were amazing. Incredibly informative, but more than that, there were just so many caring and compassionate people ready to help. My husband was diagnosed with stage IV base of tongue (BOT) cancer last July; this July (and since last December) he is cancer-free! BOT cancer is not exactly common, so there's not a whole lot of info out there. OCF fills a huge void and provides a very meaningful service to those suffering from oral cancer and those suffering alongside them.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
knowing that I had a place to turn when I needed to learn something or when I just needed to vent. OCF helped keep me sane throughout a completely insane ordeal.
Ways to make it better...
The search function on the forum was a little less persnickety.

Review for Community Auto, Gibsonia, PA, USA
This is a new nonprofit that puts donated vehicle into the hands of low-income workers to get to work or to meet other critical family needs. Care is taken to match each family's needs with the right vehicle. So far 55 families have received cars at significantly reduced prices, about 37-48% of FMV. The obstacle they face is not enough donated vehicles. Please donate a vehicle if you are able.
