A co-worker rescued a homing pigeon that was on the ground and unable to fly and in hindsight, starving and dehydrated. She took it to work and both of us decided to care for it. Neither one of us had any experience with birds so I immediately starting searching the web for advise and THANKFULLY found the Palomacy Pigeon & Dove website. Elizabeth Young helped us save this poor bird's life. I must of called her a dozen times frantic with questions from everything about feed to cages and everything in between. Other than racing and breeding, there is very little information available on the care of Pigeons. Palomacy fills that need with excellence.

I have since taken the bird - named Lois Lane - permanently home with me. Everything Elizabeth has advised me on has worked out. From my fear of Lois and my cats interacting with one another to adopting another pigeon from Palomacy so Lois can have a buddy. I am so grateful to Elizabeth and Palomacy for devoting their time and love of Pigeons and more importantly, educating us novices on how great these little birds are.
