Review for Be The Star You Are Inc, Moraga, CA, USA

Be the Star You Are! is a small, grassroots charity that delivers big time results. Almost all of the charity's volunteers are teenagers who are gaining leadership skills while they give their time and energy to fulfilling the mission of the Be the Star You Are! which is distributing positive books and media to at-risk youth and women in the community.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with Cynthia and her team of teen volunteers. Their enthusiasm is infectious and their dedication to the organization is really impressive.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

shine a light on the huge problem of illiteracy in the United States. Programs and partnerships could be created to reach underserved kids and adults and help them succeed and become successful members of society.

Role:  Volunteer & I helped fundraise for Be the Star You Are! for the organization's ten year anniversary celebration and book launch of Be the Star You Are! for TEENS.
