Review for AMANDA FOUNDATION, Beverly Hills, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Amanda Foundation works very hard to help dogs and cats throughout Los Angeles. They pull animals from city shelters, provide needed medical treatment and then find homes for them. The charity also runs the animal hospital, so they can help other rescues and individuals who can't afford veterinary services. And they run the spay and neuter program for the City of Los Angeles. This is a government program that has very strict requirements, so you either qualify for free service or you don't. They also do Pop Up Veterinary clinics in low income areas, providing free exams, X-Rays, surgeries and dentals. Because this is a private organization, they can decide what animals they take in and whom they adopt to. Some people have a problem with that, but I know the foundation wants the best for those they take in. If you look at the animals, they are all well cared for and know that they are loved.
