Review for All Terrier Rescue Hunters Crossing Inc, Aloha, OR, USA

Rating: 1 stars

We chose to foster a dog before adopting to see if she would fit in with our other 2 dogs. At no time was I told that I could not return the dog before the week was up. This sweet pup has become aggressive with my other dogs and with me. My husband has tried calling and left messages to see if we can bring her back so all the dogs can be relived of the stress they are under. Clearly this is not a good match. We have tried everything to make this work. So 3 days and 3 messages and no return call so far. If they are concerned about these dogs I would think that they would at the very least call us back and let us bring her to someone where she would not be so stressed. This is not a safe or healthy situation for any of the animals at this point but there is nothing we can do until someone calls us back! On another note, Samantha is one of the rudest people I have met. Short tempered, not helpful, and clearly is overwhelmed or something. I witnessed her yanking on leashes, yelling at volunteers and in general being rude to a lot of the people she was interacting with including me. She acts like it is an inconvenience to answer as question and responds like you are asking a stupid question. If you are interested in adopting a dog you need to know something about them. She gives information that is clearly incorrect. She told us that the dog we were interested in is 1 1/2-2 yrs old. After getting her home it is clear that she is maybe 10 - 12 mo old. So if you don't know say you don't know, don't give out bad information. They ask no questions about what kind of home these dogs are going to. I watched a small puppy go to a home with 5 kids that were pulling on it and manhandling it even before they got to the car. The poor dog was trying to get away!!!!
Next time I will do my research before I choose a rescue organization to work with. This is not the one. I will update when we hear back from the about returning the little black lab that is so unhappy in our home.
