My Nonprofit Reviews

Larissa Collins
Review for St Elizabeth Catholic Worker, Chicago, IL, USA
I visited this CW about 15 years ago as I was traveling across the US. Wonderful people, wonderful organization. The 'staff' live on site and volunteer their time. No one is paid a salary. Money you give to the CW is used to feed and shelter the poorest of poor. The house took me in for the three days I visited, no questions, just became a part of the place for my short stay. It was a memory I will always think fondly of as I look back on my life!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the people they serve
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
that others truely care for the poor
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
awesome!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
open many more CW's across the country... and would share the money with other existing CW's. They wouldn't waste the money on things that don't matter. They would use it to feed, clothe, and shelter the poor.
