Review for Mercy For Animals, Hagerstown, MD, USA
Mercy for Animals is one of my favorite nonprofits. They are They are so on the ground with up-to-date animal causes and great with getting participants active to help with animal welfare causes. They are excellent with their focus and outreach and help us all with our awareness and action for animals.
Review for Last Chance for Animals, Los Angeles, CA, USA
This charity is fabulous and works really hard for animals in all sorts of important ways. They work for international concerns like the dogmeat trade, widlife concerns like gorillas well being, and for animals used for food and their treatment as well as many other animal welfare issues. I love and trust LCA and have supported them and their work for years.
Review for National Anti-Vivisection Society, Chicago, IL, USA
I have been a member of NAVS for years. My father first suggested I join as he, too, was opposed to animal testing as well as being a professor and interested thoughtful approaches to stopping cruelty to animals. I have learned a lot over the years from NAVS' paper and now email newsletters. I have also been able to take a lot of positive action for animals as a result of their help and direction. They are very well informed and organized and are one of the oldest and most professional animal welfare groups in the country. I feel very proud to be an active member of NAVS.
Review for Center for Biological Diversity Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA
The Center for Biological Diversity has a great email newsletter and I get about 50 of such a week and the fact that I read this one is significant. It is organized clearly and teaches me a lot. They also help me take action regarding concerns that are important to me. Every time I have interacted with the staff they have been really polite and helpful. My friends kids donated money to them for their family holiday giving (choice of one animal organization and The Center won as they affected the most varied species of animals)and the kids received a hand signed note of thanks from the whole office and they were thrilled and proud. It was a great first experience with charity. I was so glad that The Center took the time to do this.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
a meeting on the East coast office opening, the newsletter information, the endangered species ringer downloads, the take action opportunities, and most important to me their continued and varied actions on many fronts to save endangered species.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the newsletter (email) the ringer downloads responsiveness to questions I have asked them
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
extremely knowledgeable and polite
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
do even more of its amazing work protecting endangered species. I am engaged with over 100 animal welfare organizations and I truly respect and trust the importance of the Center's work for species protection more than any other in the U.S.
Ways to make it better...
nothing to add
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Big business greed and the general public's ignorance about the value and danger to American wildlife and the importance of species diversity.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I really love the work of The Center for Biological Diversity and try to give them as much as I can. They are doing as much as they can for causes of species protection. They need all they help they can get to give all the help that they can.
