Ever since I was a little boy I felt that God wanted me to help the Homeless people in some way. I just did not know how. Then in 2009 I ended up in a homeless shelter. Through another organization I came to help out with the Soupmobile. There I found out the many different ways they help the homeless of Dallas. They fully believe in that verse in the bible that says Feed my Sheep. Not only do they feed them, they also have a housing program for singles as well as families. They all work together helping each other and forming friendships and bonds that last a lifetime. It is a wonderful team effort where they build each other up and those that were homeless have a place to stay and grow by serving their fellowman. Soupmobile's moto is "we are a hand up, not a hand out". Soupmobile is a great place to volunteer whether you are an individual or you represent an organization.
