When I moved to Lowell almost 2 years ago, I wanted to get involved in the community. The first place I called was the Lowell Humane Society. Not knowing anybody in the area can be a little nerve-wracking but I went ahead and became a volunteer. From the moment I stepped foot into LHS, I could tell that all of the people there LOVED helping the animals and did the absolute best they could. The staff is incredibly dedicated to the care and welfare of the animals. The volunteers are also committed to helping the staff make LHS the best, too! Over the course of the two years that I've been there, I've made many friends and become a part of a very supportive and caring family. In addition, I now have 2 beautiful new additions to my family courtesy of LHS! Thumbs up!
