Review for Heritage Conservancy, Doylestown, PA, USA
I value so much the opportunity to volunteer with the Heritage Conservancy and appreciate the chance to be involved with an organization whose mission and values are so closely aligned with my own. It is a privelege to work with the breadth of knowledge and level of commitment the staff provides in reaching its goals. The Heritage Conservancy does and will continue to play an increasingly vital role in the ecomonic success of Bucks County as it provides a key component with its various land conservation initiatives.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the beauty of the area in which I live. A greater awareness of local agriculture. The presence the Heritage Conservancy has in my community.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
do nothing differently.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
building strong relationships, understanding the mission and as I become more educated, the thrill of seeing it's efforts come to fruition.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
deeply educated and knowledgeable people who have enriched my life personally and opened my eyes to how important their work is to all of us.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
invest a portion for reserves and realize some goals much more quickly.
Ways to make it better...
I had been involved years ago. I only became involved in the last year and a half, when I began working in Doylestown.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
fundraising, first and foremost, and the challenge of changing a portion of the population's ingrained mindsets to understand how the Heritage Conservancy will benefit them.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I love being a part of it. Also, that it's accessible. I love being involved.
