Heritage Conservancy

My role as volunteer coordinator has been an invaluable experience for me and a great opportunity to expand my skills. I have enjoyed working with and getting to know Heritage Conservancy's staff and volunteers. It is wonderful to work with a team so dedicated and enthusiastic about preserving our region's resources and keeping Bucks County a great place to live.

I am honored to be part of the Heritage Conservancy and to support its vital mission of preserving open space in Bucks County. It is a privilege to work with the staff and my fellow volunteers to help keep Bucks County such a beautiful place in which to live and work.

I will tell you that I am involvrd with many Nonprofits in the Doylestown area but what makes the Heritage Conservancy so special are the Employees of this Organization. It is a pleasure to work with people who are so dedicated to what they do and spend every moment of the day trying to make this organization better and better. Historic Preservation is very important in Bucks County and because of the large open spaces of land Agriculture is important to the county also. It is great to see a Dedicated team of professionals work together to make our County a better place to live. Because of this we are making headlines of one of the best places to live in the USA.

I personally own preseved farms that are still used in agricultural production. Heritage has aided in the process on keeping our area green.

I value so much the opportunity to volunteer with the Heritage Conservancy and appreciate the chance to be involved with an organization whose mission and values are so closely aligned with my own. It is a privelege to work with the breadth of knowledge and level of commitment the staff provides in reaching its goals. The Heritage Conservancy does and will continue to play an increasingly vital role in the ecomonic success of Bucks County as it provides a key component with its various land conservation initiatives.

I began volunteering as a member of the Business Membership Committee of the Heritage Conservancy over 7 years ago. The experience has been valuable to me as an individual as well as a businessperson. The Heritage Conservancy's commitment and dedication to preservation and conservation is truly remarkable. I look forward to many more years of volunteering.

We are so fortunate to have an organization like Heritage Conservancy in the Bucks County area. Needless to say, the preservation of open space is more and more important as the years pass. Heritage Conservancy has been instrumental in the preservation of contiguous properties throughout the area. They realize the importance of conservation and education. They make an incredible effort to include the community in their conservation efforts which only strengthens the organization and the movement for land conservation amongst community members. We are all so fortunate for their success and need to continue to support their efforts.

One of Heritage Conservancy’s many missions is to enhance regional planning so conservatory programs can be implemented to oversee and protect available farmland and open space. Because of our close proximity to Philadelphia and NYC developers, home builders and other professionals are always seeking ways to utilize these available lands for sole entrepreneurial gain with little concern for the environmental impact upon our area. The Heritage Conservancy tries to balance these two goals. As a board member once said to me “both are not exclusive of each other”. Both can be accomplished with good planning, implementation and education. The Heritage Conservancy is a wonderful example of how businesses and a non-profit environmental agency can work together to build a beautiful community with new construction, while protecting open space, wildlife and our other natural resources. It is my hope that your organization will honor the Heritage Conservancy with your prestigious grant

I am so proud to be a part of this organization. Their mission for land preservation and historic preservation in Bucks County is very important to the community and the environment. The preservation of our agricultural resources is so important to the longevity of the earth and life as we know it, and Heritage Conservancy has preserved so much farmland in Bucks County. I am happy to support this mission.
