In March I was using PetFinder to search for adoptable dogs and kept coming across cuties from Muddy Paws Rescue. After checking out their website and Facebook page, I went to one of their adoption events on a Saturday near Union Square. There was a huge crowd and all of the pups I was interested in were adopted! The following week I found another pup and submitted an application online. I was thrilled when Rachael called to tell me my application was approved, even though I was on a wait list for the pup because they received so many applications. I went to the next adoption event in Union Square and unfortunately wasn't able to get the pup I applied for. However, everything worked out as an adopted for another dog fell through and I got to take my Ollie home that day! Rachael provided me with a folder with all of his paperwork, including vet and microchip info, as well as some info sheets with helpful tips, and coupons and discounts to local trainers, walkers, etc. I'm so happy I adopted through Muddy Paws!
