Erowid has many wonderful aspects and is run by very humble yet highly skilled and integral staff and volunteers. Erowid is used by the ER docs in my neighborhood. Erowid.org has likely saved my life, as without the easily-accessed vital information in the vast online library, I could easily have ingested dangerous substances in dangerous amounts or dangerous combinations. Erowid spends its precious resources wisely- they have a tiny overhead and staff payroll and their impact is global, life-saving, and unique. There is nothing else like Erowid, and all kinds of people rely on it all over the world.
