Erowid has the most accurate, up-to-date, and unbiased information you can find online about nearly any psychoactive substance. Erowid does a great job of presenting the full picture on any drug, giving the positives and negatives and letting people know what they should expect if they take it.

In a society dominated by total-abstinence policies on drugs where presenting any information on drugs other than exaggerated harms is a taboo, Erowid is a refreshingly honest and reliable source that makes the real harms and risks of substances very clear, while also articulating the benefits and experiences such substances can also provide, where applicable.

Erowid epitomizes harm-reduction through information and treats it's visitors as adults, capable of making rational, informed choices when presented with accurate information. The underground world of drug use would be a much darker, riskier, and scarier place if it weren't for the great work of Erowid.
