Review for Heritage Conservancy, Doylestown, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

One of Heritage Conservancy’s many missions is to enhance regional planning so conservatory programs can be implemented to oversee and protect available farmland and open space. Because of our close proximity to Philadelphia and NYC developers, home builders and other professionals are always seeking ways to utilize these available lands for sole entrepreneurial gain with little concern for the environmental impact upon our area. The Heritage Conservancy tries to balance these two goals. As a board member once said to me “both are not exclusive of each other”. Both can be accomplished with good planning, implementation and education. The Heritage Conservancy is a wonderful example of how businesses and a non-profit environmental agency can work together to build a beautiful community with new construction, while protecting open space, wildlife and our other natural resources. It is my hope that your organization will honor the Heritage Conservancy with your prestigious grant

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Courteous, friendly and dedicated to their goals and objectives of their organization. Their enthusiasm is always evident; whether you need information or just to call to confirm a meeting date. All of their employees truly enjoy their jobs and see the importance they make to the community and the environment
