Buster was adopted in May of 2011. How can I express the joy that he has brought us? Cheri did the home check herself, driving at least 2 hours to our house. She stayed with us for a few hours while Buster made himself at home. When it was time for her to leave, he had decided that he had found his forever home. She did leave with him reluctantly and by Sunday, we called saying he was the perfect fit for us. She and the rest of the volunteers have been there any time I have had a question. If you are looking to adopt a Husky, this is the group you need to use. Thank you Cheri and the rest of the volunteers for what you do for the dogs.

Buster was the runt of a litter. Hairy Houdini raised him until he was a perfect fit for my family.
I wasn’t really sure I wanted another dog after my children left for college, but my daughter found him. I kept telling her no for 3 months. I finally gave in and Cherie brought Buster to our house for a home check. Unbeknownst to us, Buster had decided my family was going to be his family. Cherie did not have the papers with her, so she carried, Buster to her car. The next day we called her and she meet us. Buster because a great addition to our family on that day. He is a really great dog.

We adopted Buster, aka Little Man, in 2011. He has been such a joy to our life. For us, he is the perfect size husky weighing in at 28lbs and knee-height. It is his Shar-Pai part showing up in his build,; up he looks all husky. Most people think he is puppy, but he is really a 6 year old playful gentleman. Hairy Houdini Siberian Husky Rescue made sure he was the perfect fit for us and he is. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to adopt a fur-baby!
