Without Erowid, there would be a lot more ignorance about psychoactive drugs, and there's no doubt in my mind that this site's existence has prevented at least hundreds of injuries and deaths -- it's hard to measure of course, but it could be in the thousands or tens of thousands. The bottom line is I'm very glad it exists!
