My Nonprofit Reviews

This is a great organization. I'm not Russian and have only very limited Russian proficiency, yet I feel very welcome when I attend their events. Even though I didn't know anyone when I went for the first time, the folks were warm and I met some delightful people. I don't make it to all their events, but when I do, I thoroughly enjoy myself and feel like I'm part of their community even though I am just a newcomer. I think that anyone who wants to have more contact with another culture and language would enjoy the experience of coming to the ARC's parties.
I am also taking advantage of the Russian classes they offer. It's a long drive for me, yet worth it again because of the people and the sense of community. Russian's a difficult language to learn under the best of circumstances, so having a small class taught by a native speaker with other people who are also impassioned about learning the language is a plus.
