Review for La Jolla Historical Society, La Jolla, CA, USA
La Jolla Historical Society helps preserve the past and educate the public by offering a wide variety of programs to link today’s audiences with the rich history of La Jolla’s past. The Society has three historic buildings in the Scripps/Gill cultural zone built in the early 1900s that support exhibitions, educational programs, offices and public research. Events and activities include exhibitions, lecture series, education camps for youth, collaborative programs with educational and cultural institutions, oral history initiatives, and popular annual community events such as the Secret Garden Tour of La Jolla and the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance and Motor Car Classic.

Review for San Dieguito River Valley Land Conservancy, San Diego, CA, USA
The San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy is a great asset to our community as they help preserve the natural open spaces in the San Dieguito River watershed. For 30 years with the help of an amazing group of local volunteers they have restored habitat, led guided hikes, and educated youth about the local environment . Given the tremendous amount of growth and change in our region, it is important to have a group like this protecting our natural habitat for us and generations to come.
