Three of our children have participated in MYA for a cumulative total of over twenty years! From early grade school through high school, MYA has provided each of them with exceptional access to excellence in music performance. Mr. Pearson, who conducts most of the younger orchestras, always shows great joy and positivity in interacting with the kids while simultaneously shaping their performances into something truly impressive. Dr. D, who conducts the older orchestras, also has great joie de vivre while also demanding the highest performance values. For any student who is interested in instrumental performance, this is the place to find others who are like-minded.
