I have interacted with the Jewish Council for the Aging over many years and observed the
strength of their staff and programs which fill an essential need in Montgomery County.
They are a leader in providing transportation information and services with innovative models. They serve some of our most vulnerable seniors with care and support.
They have model intergenerational programs providing opportunities for older adults to mentor and read to some of our most vulnerable ESOL students. They are also the leader in providing employment support through their Career Gateway program and annual over 50 employment expo. Each of these activities are conducted in an exemplary manner. I have personally witnessed much of what they do for our community.
