I am the financial advisor for VFVF. Being this great foundation's face and voice is an honor and a privilege. I thank our board members for allowing me this privilege and our supporters for making my role much more accessible for our veteran community. On September 21, we held a fundraiser and event for our veterans. Approximately 25 low-income or no-income veterans attended this event, giving them a night out that they would typically not be able to experience. Although raising funds was not our primary goal, we could still raise over $ 3,000. We thank all of our sponsors, especially our platinum sponsor KWB Wealth.

I'm the financial coordinator for Volunteers for Veterans Foundation; VFVF has been assisting veterans for 30 years. It is my honor and privilege to be able to assist veterans with everyday needs daily. We helped to support four different veterans' Villages with milk and eggs weekly.

I have been supporting and working for this group since 1999, in 2009 we became a non-profit, I'm the financial advisor. I work with veterans on a daily basis to see that they get the assets that they need and deserve. VFVF supports 3 Veteran Villages providing veterans with food, clothing, and hygiene items when needed.

This foundation is great and has experienced a great loss this year Mary Kelly Mohr the founder of Heroes Warehouse lost her brave battle with cancer in May. She was the heart and soul of this foundation.
The purpose of Heroes Warehouse is to provide previously homeless veterans and their families with furniture and home essentials for their Permanent homes at NO COST to them.

Dear Betty and VFVF , I pray this will get through to you, as I have tried since Christmas Eve to reach you and say, THANK YOU. The gift you handed to my son and I, meant the world to both of us. I have never had someone help us as you and Mary have. I was always the giver, never the getter. This is the second time Mary stepped up and helped my grand kids and my son. I can not find words loud enough, showing love enough, I can only from my whole heart say thank you, thank you....If I can ever help, please remember me and if I can, I WILL. God Bless, Joy
